what's up at lowt.com
Anybody have any info on lowt.com. Can't reach login sight and read on their forum that another client can't login and neither could his physician. He said he heard they were sold. They collected my monthly payment 3 days ago hoping there's not a problem.

I am in the same boat! Been using them for three years now and it has been well over a week since my 6 month blood work was drawn. I've been trying to get to their website to get my results and I have also emailed my contact there and no response. The link for their website is DEAD! WTF? They have my whole year paid up front and they're just gone like that! POOF! I'll try to call them tomorrow and if I get no response, I guess I'll have to contact a lawyer. It's VERY unlike the company to not be responsive to contact. Since they were bought out, the company has changed. I hope its just initial speed bumps and not a sign of things to come.

Yeah been with them 3years myself in May. Just checked my master card statement saw they pulled my payment from a company I didn't authorize. Was getting ready to schedule my flight to houston tx for my annual check up ($1200 flight hotel rental car) have always been happy with them but now wondering.dont want to name any names but a lot of the very respected members on this board have always have stood up for lowt. And now nothing. Please understand not trying to cause trouble , but this is very important to us counting on lowt. For our treatment.and just looking for some help. Understand if I have to find another DR , fine but I need to know before I pay out money(non refundable)to a company that is not in business.I always remember you guys saying not to trust any DR or clinic that is not up front and honest.

Guys, run a Google using what I have in quotes " iron and tweed lowt.com" . Click on the fourth link and read there.
I don't know if that will help, but maybe it will give you someone to contact with your questions. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Their new company is called Prime Body. I am really really nervous that they changed hands now, as I've shelled out a lot of money to them and nobody is contacting me. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try phoning them tomorrow. If no contact can be made, I'm calling my attorney.

I went with a different place back in November. I noticed a problem with them, up until then it was good. The new place, all I had to do was send them my bloodwork from Low T, then if you want do a tele. office visit. I never actually did the tele visit though. They are some how aloud to send 6 months worth. They wanted to put me on 300mg a week, but I'm sticking to what I already have.

Thanks for the info! I was giving LowT some serious thought. I was going to be in a city with one of their locations this week, and was thinking about scheduling an appointment. I think I'll be more cautious now.

I used them for awhile, cut it off before the end of the year. They were hounding the f out of me to pay $$ but I had decided to not use them anymore! Now I hear this and I'm glad I got out before all of this nonsense happens

I was finally gotten back to, a week and a half after my labs, but not until emailing and calling a few times. I don't know if they're working out the kinks since they changed hands. My labs came back and my test is pretty high along with my e2, so the doc is putting me on Anastrozole and lowering my dose. I'm waiting to try to get it prescribed since the website is down the doctor said he didn't have a way to go online and order it, so I hope this is a non-eventful ordeal to get the anastrozole.

Wow, this must be very disturbing for those who use this service. I hope it gets worked out, as it was a good idea when it was first proposed here. Good luck...

I've been trying to get on the site to request a refill for a while to no avail. Nobody answers the phones either. But they charged my card today.

So after two weeks, I get my anastrazole for my high E2. Now mind you I was prescribed .5mg twice per week. They send me a grand total of FIVE capsules. All 5 were 1.25mg capsules. What am I supposed to do with five capsules? Where are the tablets that I can cut in quarters? This is ridiculous. So now I guess I'll have to keep calling and messaging to get them to correct this. They're apparently using a different pharmacy too. I also got intramuscular needles when I've only ever used sub q. I'm so worried that me being dialed in right now is going to end. I paid up front for the year every year and they have me locked in till October. I hope I can manage to hang in till then, because if this continues, I'm gone from there in October. They're now playing with my health and general well being. I hate to say it, but if I can't get this corrected, I may have to contact a lawyer. My health and general well being are at stake. We are in the IVF process trying to have a child and paying out the ass for IVF and my testosterone and reproductive system is in jeopardy! They have to fix this QUICK!

Dreadnok, i was 28 when i was diagnosed. Nobody else would touch me.
Update, i did get in touch with my doctor, he said he'd take care of the rx refills for me. I also sent a rather threatening email to the support link in their payment email. I received a call from prime body in about 3 hours.
The guy said they sent emails to everyone explaining the buy out, but many people said they didn't receive it (i was one of them). He said nothing is supposed to change, except they're having problems with these first refills from everyone. He also said after the first ones, refills will be automated, no need to request a refill anymore.
I'm gonna stick it out, see how it goes. But I'm also going to start dr shopping. I'm over 30 now, I'm sure i can find a local doc that'll treat me

I use it because I can't find anyone to prescribe hcg which I need for fertility.
I was also told that on top of the $2300 service for the fee, there will be an ADDITIONAL $225 fee annually for prescription, supplies, bloodwork and shipping. What is the $2300 annually for? Is that for the pleasure of seeing the doctor once per year?

Glad to hear that Hawk, hope it works out for you. I've been with them 3 years only message I received was April 3 showing my payment went through ( message was from lowt. Like always but MasterCard showed prime body on receipt ) I have tried multiple times to call ang message all parties... Lowt, prime body, empower pharmacy and my Dr in houston. Have received no replies to any E mail and only my Drs receptionist will answer the phone but then told I will be called back, 3 days later no return call and they will not pick up any call from a# after know its me.... Have tried many times, first call very nice told will be called back then won't answer from that #. ( really disappointed in my Dr , I truly thought she was a great person. Guess you live and learn.) And I am in need of a refill . At least I didn't book my flight and motel to houston ....$1200 dollars from east coast. Houston was the closest location to me at first, but continued with them even after a branch opened up within driving distance, that's how much I thought of my Dr. We'll good luck Hawk and everybody else having to deal with this mess and have a great weekend......and remember it isn't the of the world no matter what happens.

For God's sake, call your bank and despute the charges. Then cx that card. These guys seem to be nothing but scammers. Get the hell out of there and don't look back. They've had plenty of time to contact customers and get things straightened out. Obviously they have no intention of doing this even though they're continue to take your money. I feel bad for you guys that were screwed over by these crooks. Good luck.

We'll dreadnok89 we have choices of taking advice from members on this site (who backed the people at lowt. ) or someone like you who has gone with 3 doctors who were arrested . Silly me I went with the ones I trusted either way I picked wrong. And just so you know I have as little respect for your opinion as the ones I use to respect, silly me.

I got the guy to send me a copy of the email they supposedly sent to everyone. It really does explain everything. It's too big to upload but I'll find a way to get it on here.
No extra charges.they do offer a flat $10 a month for refill shipment, meaning no more $15/refill. Doing some quick math, it comes out better in the long run.

I don't really think anyone on this forum is to blame. At the time when posters were recommending lowT.com, they were one of the better clinics on the market. I doubt anyone here had advanced knowledge of what was happening with the company, and it wasn't some elaborate scam by the moderators here.
It seems that it's just an unfortunate situation, very frustrating for us as patients.
Maybe I'm alone here, but I always knew that this type of thing would be a possibility. It's a men's health clinic, not a hospital.
I was just so desperate for treatment that I was willing to take that chance. I'm a little surprised, lowT.com seemed miles ahead of other clinics, but I suppose that no clinic is above this sort of thing.

You're right the posters on this forum had nothing to do with lowt. And I' m sure those that supported them did so with all good intentions( been reading this forum for many years and truly did base my decision to go with lowt. Because a lot support from respected posters) now about this being a men's clinic and not a hospital, as if they don't have as much responsibility for their patience care I totally disagree . I don't know what happened at lowt. ....Probably financial .... And I won't blame them and I don't care. But how they handled the situation was disgracefull . They should of been held to the same level of professionalism as any hospital.... They are guiding patience through what is suppose to be a lifelong process, and that should include helping them to transition through changes at their end.

As this is a life-long process/decision for many of us, I trust no hospital or doctor to be my sole provider. You've got to fend for yourself on a certain level. It's a sad reality indeed

956vette,Kel Kel you're both very correct I just think you're provider has an obligation to care for the people who have trusted them. Again I don't know what happened at lowt. And I don't care.... I would not say a bad thing about them if they were found to be just bad at handling a business. But they have an obligation to the clients .... At least let us login to our page to get any info we will need to carry on. But you know what I'll be ok no matter, and I hope all others get this worked out. All respect to the people who make this site so great, and I don't need to give my opinion of the people involved with low t. ,I truly believe the wheel makes a full turn.

It's fine man. It's kind of a shady business. The doctors I went to also did pain killers. So I made sure to find docs that had nothing to do with the painkillers. I pay out the ass but it's alot easier and safer than before. I just remember lowt being hit or miss with whatever doctor you got. It's so hard to find a good doctor even outside of lowt it's scary. Even the dr I go to now is so off with stuff its silly. But he gives me freedom

Definitely a screwed up transition (most are) from the LowT operation into the PrimeBody service. However, if you are experiencing problems, contact PrimeBody (like I did) by email at "support at primebody dot com" to address your concerns or issues with your particular account. In my experience, my emails have been responded to promptly and I even had several followup calls and emails to check on me.
I'm sticking with PrimeBody for now and will continue to evaluate the customer service.
