    New Bloodwork

I just got my results back on my first post TRT bloods. Overall things looks good.

    Protocol:

    200mg Test Cyp /week (100mg 2x week)
    250iu hCG EOD
    .5 mg Adex 2x week.

    Results:

    Testosterone , Serum 1182 ng/dL 348 - 1197 01 (up from 315)
    Free T(Direct) 26.6 High pg/mL 6.8 - 21.5 01 (up from 9.3)
    LH 0.1 Low mIU/mL 1.7 - 8.6 01
    FSH <0.2 Low mIU/mL 1.5 - 12.4 01
    SHBG, Serum 26.8 nmol/L 16.5 - 55.9 01 (+3.5)
    Estradiol 9.4 pg/mL 7.6 - 42.6 01 (down from 11.0)

Hemocrit is up to 51.9 is and definitely something to watch. I'll start donating regularly. Triglycerides are to 192 from 163.

From what I am reading, I feel like my E2 should come up? Would it make sense cutting back on the adex? I have 1mg tabs that I've been cutting in half and taking 2x week (day after injections). I could quarter those tabs. Alternatively, I could cut the adex entirely and take more bloods in a month or two.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

As has been said many times on here, less is more with trt. In my opinion, your numbers aren't sustainable. With that high of a dose you're going to continually battle h-crit, hbp, chol, etc...
I'm assuming you began your protocol with Adex and didn't add it in because it was needed?? If I were you, I'd drop to 75mg 2x/wk and either lose the AI all together until u retest, or at least drop it down to .25 2x/wk.
    Go donate!

The original protocal is for 1mg 2x week - WAY to much - especially considering my E2 was low to start. For now, I'm just going to drop the Adex down to .25. Blood pressure hasn't taken a hit so far. Blood pressure is barely up if at all. I'm open to dropping the dose and the AI at some point if those problem numbers are worse at the next retest.

Agree with Crawfish. You'd be just fine dropping your dose as suggested and eliminating the adex all together. Your estradiol level itself is on the low end and if compared to the proper E2 sensitive test you are probably about crashed. Eventually you will feel the effects of low E and you won't like it.

Re-test in 4 weeks and include the correct E2 test for accuracy. Exclude LH/FSH from this point forward. Think long term. You won't feel a difference dropping your dose a little but it will pay off for you in the long term. Re giving blood, do so when needed but it's usually not necessary to do it systematically.

Sound advice. I believe you that I won't feel different on .75 mg T - BUT - in terms of gym progress and body recomp, will it make much of a difference? I'm really hitting my stride with both dropping fat and increasing my lifts while I'm doing it. I'm loath to change that at the moment. My inclination to keep the T at 200 until June and then cut back. Call it a cycle on a mini dose. I'm also gonna cut out the Adex entirely for two weeks to let the E2 rebound.

I'll see if my clinic will order the other E2 test. The labs are in a bundle. I'm not sure if you can order off the menu for them. I'll definitely

I completely understand the incline to stay at that dose, and it probably wouldn't hurt to keep it for a few months, BUT...I would get dialed in first (probably won't notice much, if any gym difference anyway), then run a cycle.

Oh, I'm not going to run cycle yet - just stay at my current dose for the gains for a little bit longer. Mostly likely, I would save the 50 mg/week up and run blast once a year.

I don't see any harm in that.

No need to cut out the Adex entirely for 2 weeks though. It's got a fairly short half life and is not a suicidal aromatase inhibitor.

You could just start with the new protocol at your next scheduled dose. Or perhaps just skip one dose and resume with the new protocol after that. Should be an easy transition either way.
