Omnitrope 5.8mg Vial Dosing Questions
So my doctor prescribed me monthly a 5.8mg vial reconstituted with 1.14 ml bacteriostatic water. I'll then inject .04 ml daily.
I'm just wondering what this converts to in IUs? Is it a normal dose for anti-aging / fat loss?

The volume of one IU is dependent on the concentration substance.
This means that the IU varies each substance.
Somatropin is manufactured to be equivalent to gh.
The gh conversion factor from mg to IU is, 1mg = 3IU.
So now we do some basic algebra.
5.8mg / 1.14ml = 5.09mg/ml
5.09mg/ml (0.04ml) = 0.204mg
0.204mg (3IU/mg) = 0.61IU
The non weight based somatropin dosage ranges form 0.15 to 0.3 mg/day.
You're taking 0.204mg witch is the average dosage.

What effects will this specific dosage have combined with Testosterone Cypionate (200mg / week)? This was prescribed at the same time.
Here is the blood work he based the dosages off of:
DHEA-Sulfate - 452.6 ug/dl
Testosterone , Total - 343 ng/dl
Sex Hormone Bind Globulin - 23 nmol/L
Testosterone, Free - 7.38 ng/dl
IGF-1 155 ng/ml
I'm 34 years old btw... Thanks!
