HRT Question..
Hi, and thanks in advance for any help....
I'm going to try and condense the longer version related to my question. I have been taking androgen for the past three or so years and at various levels. With the HRT, it has been in about the 600 level or so and and I've been able to gradually decrease my level of the 1.62% Androgelt just half a pump every other day.
For some weird reason, the last time I was tested the level was at 800 and bio available, etc. within the range, etc...however my pcp (actually a D.O) thought it was too high. I'm 61. So she wanted me to go without for a month and have it retested. I did and it was 325. I haven't noticed feeling any different really. She though that was a little low so is now putting me on Pererigo which I understand is generic for androgel . However, she only prescribed 1 pump every third day. It appears that the generic Perrigo has 12.5 mg per pump where as the 1.62% Androgen had 20.25 mg of testosterone per pump.
Any observations?
A few years ago I was having trouble getting an erection, etc. I can now, etc...
My main goal is just to feel good and have an appropriate amount of libido...(more is generally better for me I would say...ha)....
Thanks for your help!!

Ok so basically your asking if we think the cream is strong enough? I personally don't but lots of people use it with success. I would consider getting a compounded cream and getting the exact percentage that brought my levels up to 6-700.
Personally we like injections the best:
Injected TRT earns high marks for safety, effectiveness | Urology Times
The problem with cream is that it can convert at a higher rate to DHT. Which may not be good at your age.
I know progesterone helps regulate your DHT ratio, so maybe adding HCG to your cream would balance you out.
Hope this helps.

I's not cream. It's gel. I don't understand what you are saying.

Cream or gel is the same thing, same absortion through skin.
Your should have measured DHT, e2 and free T. Getting scared with total T of 800 without seeing the whole pictures is kinda useless.
