Rx for HCG
Ive been on TRT for about 3 years. Not once has my Dr mentioned HCG , Has anyone ever been prescribed HCG?
I'd sure rather have insurance pay for it.. They pay for the Ai, which I had a real hard time with. I was unable to take dex and most others due to side effects. Now on Aromasin with sides only once in a while. That sh*t is SPENDY? Thanks for your time,,

I have a script right now, but insurance says it's not medically necessary and my part of the bill is $300+. If doc can't fix, I'll keep getting from overseas

Yes, I've been scripted it for years. If you do some research you'll see "Hypogonadic Hypogonadism" is listed on most package inserts for the major brands as one of its uses. Many insurance companies will cover it if your doc simply writes a "Letter of Medical Necessity" to your plan administrator.
Time to educate your doctor. Most simply don't really understand hormones. That leaves HCG lost in the abyss....

I agree with Kel. You can get a script or purchase it fairly cheap overseas. Just do what you're comfortable with. There are various dosing options and you can read up on it here in the "stickies". PM me if you need the source I purchase mine from. Been using it since I learned of it's importance about 7 months after I started TRT. I just recently lowered my dose from 700iu/week to 525iu/week to see how I feel.
