Peptides vs HGh
Has anyone had as good of experience with peptides as they have using HGH?

I've done a good amount of research on this and its really based on user feedback. Pretty much the consensus was that you could get 2-3ius worth of "effect" from a good peptide combo such as ghrp + ghrh and even mk-677. Once you add those up at their appropriate dosages you're not very far from the price of HGH.
I chose to use HGH but I do have mk-677 on hand and plan to add ghrp-6 at some point in the new year but thats mainly for appetite.

Pure HGH shuts the pituitary down. End of story. Peptides do not. If you decide to stop HGH, you don't know if - or how -your pituitary will recover and start producing GH on its own. If you're willing to take the chance on HGH, go for it. To me it's a no brainer choice. If you stop peptides, you pituitary carries on its job of GH production.

Tried the peptides twice. 2, 5 month runs. Did not see any results. Bummed, that was $2K down the toilet.

Sorry Sox, but thats not correct.
Sure, HGH might stop a few pulses, but it has very short life, unless you pin it every 3 hours you are not shutting down the pituitary.
Peptides can increase slightly GH production on pituitary and even locally, but this increase is very poor, totally innefective compared to real exogenous HGH. Peptides also mess with an array of poorly studied hormones, which I would say is a bigger gamble.

I have used both over the years. And noticed some side effects with low dose 3 i.u.'s HGH. But haven't seen any real benifits to the peptides except for a better quality of sleep. Mostly interested in the long term an leaning effects it can have as I age.

Agree with both. Exogenous HGH does not have a long term affect on the pituitary's ability to secrete HGH. Once the IGF-1 levels come down, you'll revert back to where you were. I have off, on, off, on HGH labs that confirm this.
Also HIGHLY agree with the second part of your post. Peptides are very poorly understood and we don't know what other pituitary hormones they are affecting. I have personal experience that they affect Vasopression (antidiuretic hormone) production. I spent two nights in the hospital and nearly died. Granted, perhaps I'm overly responsive to them, but there's little data.

I had a great peptide place that went out of business and ipam plus cjc1295 no dac raised my igf-1 from 130-150 to 337. I was pinning 4-5 times a day but it worked. Since they went out a couple years ago no other peptide place could get me passed 180 or so. So i went to hgh and 3 iu gets me pushing 300. Just started to add k677 at night so we'll see where that gets me.

Hmm. Can't answer that question. But I do remember reading this somewhere during my research on peptides - specifically on Datbtrue. Too bad the site is no longer in existence. I've been looking for links to substantiate my statement and I can't seem to find any, to date. My apologies. Definitely don't want to mislead or give inaccurate info.

I'm on TRT, I'm 75. I push weights 3x weekly. I've been on HGH now for 2 years, I can only afford 1 IU daily. I would like to do more, but at 75 you have to watch the pennies.
I've had what I think is a tendon problem in my right arm for close on a year now. I tried pinning 2 IU daily for a month, but no effect. It's been getting worse, it's painful doing bench press, agony doing pull downs or triceps extensions. I had two choices :
Go to my acupuncturist - 65 km drive one way and 45 Euros per treatment for usually 3 or 4 treatments, or try this peptide, Thymosin Beta, (TB500). I managed to get hold of 12 x 2mg Vials for 140 Euros from a reliable source.
I thought that people would be interested in the results.
I'm taking 2 mg every Wednesday and Sunday. It was recommended that I take 2.0 or 2.5 mg twice weekly for 6 weeks. 2.0 mg is convenient.
I did 2mg last wed before going to the gym - no effect
I did 2mg last Sun before gym - I noticed that it was less painful on the bench press
I did 2mg this week on Wednesday but I couldn't make the gym until today (Friday). I managed to do 10 reps at 120 kgs for the first time in over 8 months, anything over 100 kgs was very painful. I did pull downs with hardly any pain, but I did keep it light. It was still painful to do more than 40 kgs on reverse curls, so I kept the weight down.
I'm due for my next shot on Sunday. This will be the last shot for week 2.
So far, I'm very encouraged. I'll keep you updated.

I've now had 5 x 2 mg injections of TB500. I went to the gym this morning and had just about no pain in my arm. I just felt it doing dips. Three weeks ago it was much too painful to do dips at all.
I still have five more bottles in the fridge. It's too soon to shout 'Eureka', but I' very positive so far. Just hope the pain doesn't come back again. Need to take the next five shots and then see if it comes back when I stop.

Sorry to be so late with this. Work has kept me from posting for a while.
"Normal" IGF-1 Range (LabCorp) = 50-194 ng/mL
Off = 146
Off = 121
On = 224 (2 IU per day)
Off = 128
On = 174 (I IU per day)
That's what I have so far. I'm not sure if or how long I'll continue with HGH. The effects of Rx are very subtle and I tend to bloat easily with the stuff, which is why I cut back to 1 IU per day. So far (about 7 months into the on-off-on cycle) about all I've noticed (other than the bloat) is a slight healing of some bothersome tendonitis in the elbows and left shoulder.

I've now finished my 10 bottles of TB500. The pain in my right arm has gone completely. My left knee is better than it has been for months and my lower back also feels better and my Deadlifts are much easier as well.
This stuff seems to be good and it does what it says. I know the stuff I got isn't fake. I'll certainly use it again if I have another nagging injury. It works out a bit cheaper and a lot less driving hassle than the acupuncturist!
