Concerns for my T levels and TRT
I did a 3mo cycle of test ethanate. It was my first cycle into injectables as I have done 5 rounds of PH's. Some of those cycles I stacked 3-4 compounds. Had all my supports during and post cycle. However I crashed hard 30days after. Clomid helped a lot and got me working again. I slowly got better but haven't got back to homeostasis. Have about all the symptoms of low t. I'm a serious weightlifter and always wanted to try test/AAS but only finally did it after my wife left me pregnant to another guy. Anyway, I finally get health insurance and decide to go to the doctor.
Start off with my first visit to my PCP..
I told her I believed I had low t. Told her what I did and why I did it. She said because I'm still good size 5'10" 225lbs and at my age there's no way I have low t. I told her what symptoms I had but didn't matter to her. She told me that it was depression and it was all in my head but she would still run the blood tests I wanted. I told her I had been taking DAA for past few months and it has helped but I'm still having all the symptoms. She proceeded to raise her voice to me and got very hostile. Told me I should stop taking all supplements. "They're not regulated by the fda!" Etc.. I said I'm only taking that. She repeated herself 3 more times and each time I said the samething. It was the truth. I'm not going to lie. I truly want help. My results said
Test total- 335.
They told me it was in normal range. Even though I knew it was on the low end of normal. Talked her into sending me to a specialist. She wouldn't let me choose the specialist but I was thinking alright I'll play and show you I really just want help.
I get sent to her urologist..
He barely even looked at me when I talked to him. Didn't seem like he was fully paying attention. Immediate red flag. I told him in detail exactly what I took. Schedule, length, mg, support sups. Still didn't seem to be paying attention. He then told me I shouldn't have low t at my age. My sensitivity to my penis has been way down since I crashed. He told me that there's is positively no reason for that. He cut me off when I was explaining things and told me "its psychological." I immediately knew he already made his mind up on me when he talked to my PCP. He just repeated what she said. He did blood work again but wouldn't run an estrogen test like I really wanted also to do. I got off of DAA for 5days when I took this blood test. My results were
test total- 225
The specialists assistant called me and told me he recommends TRT. The script he wrote me was for test cypionate 50mg every 4weeks. I asked if I could see him or speak to him about it. I had questions and concerns. Like when will he check my levels next, will he up my dosage, test if only active I believe 14-16days after injection so what about side effects from hormones fluctuating, where should I expect my levels to be? He wouldn't see me or answer questions. I was told to get the script filled and one of his assistants will instruct me on how to inject. I figure that's my chance to really ask questions and see him. I know he doesn't care about my goals and that I'm a bodybuilder. Makes me feel like my aspirations and quality of life doesn't matter.
I'm just wanting help. I live in Columbus, OH and need to look around for another urologist or someone that deals with athletes/weightlifters. Who might care and understand about his patients lifestyle and quality of life.
Do any of you think at my test level of 225 that test cypionate 50mg once a month will truly help me or be effective? I'm 225lbs and once I lose the BF I've gained from low t I'll be back to 215lbs 10% BF. My short term goal is 225lbs at 10% and long term to get as close as I can to 250lbs. Feel like my goals are now hindered by physicians who don't care. I will be so thankful for any info or help provided. Feel free to PM me.
