    What's a decent level at 23?

    So I got my Test levels checked...I've been feeling tired with a loss of motivation and sex dive and difficult erections after a major weight loss and still 1 year later I'm the same.

    I talked to my doc she said to get metabolic and testosterone check with bloods.

    Everything checked out okay , metabolic function is all within range and great...

    My Total Test was 602ng/DL
    Range was 240-871 ng/DL

    Free test was 12.9ng/DL
    Range was 7-36.7ng/DL

    SHBG 34nmol/l
    Range was 11-78nmol/l

    Is this all okay for someone my age who works out? And she didn't run a full hormone panel which I was annoyed about but do these numbers suggest I should or shouldn't?

    Do you have LH and FSH and Estrogen and Prolactin tests available?

    I added the ranges below my levels. Unfortunately my doctor only ordered a testosterone check so no FH LH ESTROGEN levels were checked. Considering I seem to be in mid range, should I still ask her to check those to? I just don't want to make the lady think I'm trying to tell her how to do her job...she's very nice and will probably test if I asked.

    Your total T isn't bad at all. I'd like to see your free T higher as that is what works for you. Optimizing Vit D levels can help with your free T by virtue of suppressing your shbg levels a little. It won't be dramatic, but it can help. D is hormone and one of the best supps a person can take. If I were to test anything now it would probably be your thyroid. TSH, FT3, FT4 at a minimum. Maybe add RT3 and Antibodies if allowed.

    In the meantime, make sure your nutrition and rest are on-point. Also remember that blood work is just a snapshot in time. Make sure when you test in the future (for hormones) that it's first thing in the morning.

    My TSH is consistently at the near lowest end of the range. I will update with numbers soon.

    TSH 0.67mciu/ml
    Range is .35-4.0

    Compared to previous levels, my TSH is consistently dropping. What could happen as a result of declining TSH levels?

    I'd say fatigue and weakness would be the two main things if in fact you were diagnosed as hyperthyroid. Do a little reading at www.stopthethyroidmadness.com. It's a great site for all things thyroid.

    Low TSH does not mean hyperthyroidism, it most likely just mean your thyroid is working with good efficiency. For hyperthyroidism diagnostic you need to test total and free T4 and T3.

    Your test levels are great. Free test could be little higher, like Kel wisely said, and do take his advice on Vit D.

    Sound good, so given my test levels are okay, it doesn't warrant any need for me to check my estrogen and other levels right? And my TSH levels indicate that my metabolism and such is up to speed?

    I feel like I'm trying to find something to blame for my lack of consistency in mood and energy but maybe it's something I just need to work on myself since it looks like everything checks out okay.

    And I was looking to cycle very soon but if my test is good then why suppress it to only replace it...

    My doc emailed me back and says my blood count is borderline low and thinks it may be a lab discrepancy and wants me to retest and check some other stuff such as b12 and iron. Say my blood count is actually low...is it serious and why could this be?
