Pills for your liver
Hi, so...before I started TRT I had pretty bad blood results re my liver. I drink a lot, maybe one litre of spirits a week and ten beers. I have been doing this for YEARS. In fact, in the 90's I used to consume double that. That's 27 years of liver abuse!
The doctor was concerned at my tests but I was lucky, it appeared that I had got away with it.
I decided to try out Liv.52 and inositol and choline . I didn't alter my drinking pattern and the results were as such: Serum Alanine 55 g/l before the pills 35 g/l after 8 weeks.
Of course, I intend to totally cut out alcohol but the results were very encouraging to me. The pills worked. Not sure which of the two but they are so cheap I will continue to use them.
So basically I'm saying 'these pills are ace'.

ALAT isn't the best "drinker" marker.
Look at gamma GT as well.
Yeah, some NAC, or preferably SAMe, might help,
as well as flooding b vits.
But really, only breaks and eventually drastically reducing alcohol will help ya.

Well, I'm totally lost by those terms. My GP was concerned about me killing myself with alcohol. I hope he tested me for the things you mentioned. My SA was the only thing he was worried about in the end. Hopefully he didn't miss the other tests.
