sex before test level
I got my test level checked but the day before the test I had sex with wife would that make the test level higher because my body is producing more sperm?

To my knowledge, there is no relationship between T levels and sexual timing or frequency. Also, to my knowledge, there is not relationship between the rate of sperm production and the production of Testosterone . LH production is controlled by GnRH production, which in turn is controlled by negative feedback on the hypothalamus by T and E2 (a very potent inhibitor). The production of FSH, which controls spermatogenesis is only indirectly influenced by negative feedback. Once GnRH reaches the pituitary, it can either stimulate the release of LH or FSH or both. The main controlling mechanism of which hormone is released by the pituitary is a third hormone called inhibin. Inhibin is produced by the testicles when the epididymis is filled with sperm cells. It travels back to the pituitary and selectively tells the pituitary to release LH instead of FSH when there is a GnRH signal from the hypothalamus. So, just because you've had sex, it does not mean there will be an increase in LH production, just a decrease in inhibin, when then selectively increases FSH production when there is a GNRH signal.

Actually, for a good medical reason if the labs include a PSA test (which it should). You should not ejaculate (pretty much covers most forms of sex) within 24-48 hours of the blood draw. Ejaculation may artificially increase PSA and give you a false positive on the blood test.
