Quiting HRT/TRT
What can happen if you quit injection test every week?
I'm still new and only on my third week of a 10 week cycle, I've been thinking of stopping injections and I've only injected 1ml of test cyp for two weeks. Have I been feeling better and life changes with just 2-3 week of injection, yes I have seen a lot of benefits and life began to change with increasing my test
My test levels were pretty low for my age, and I'm getting another blood work up done next week, no my testies haven't actually shrunk yet so I think they still work and its only been 1 injection of 1ml every weekLast edited by RussianSpets; 05-28-2017 at 10:35 AM.

200mg of test cyp per week is not a cycle, it's high end TRT.
Did you have low T prior to this? If so, what was the cause?
Your upcoming blood work is now flawed unless you're trying to see what level the exogenous test elevated you to.
Full advantages of a properly run hormone protocol cannot be realized in two weeks. Some yes, most are placebo at this point.
Right about now your LH function will be close to bottomed out and you're existing on your injected Test. If you quit injecting your system "should" slowly start back up to your original low levels, or less.

I do have pre hrt blood work and it was low, low, low
Most likely due to me being overweight, overeating, not working out and depression for a year or so due to work stress...
Started injecting after results came back of my full blood panel and doc says I am a good candidate for HRT, have I seen real benefits of injecting test for the past few weeks? Yea I have seen a lot of benefits leading up to this and I feel like my depression has actually gone away slowly, I have replaced my time with weight lifting, eating better, sleeping good once again and injecting test. Do I want to get off HRT now, maybe want to see what happens etc.. Getting test results next week anyway and will know what my levels are at currently if they increased any at all, could be placebo however I have begun feeling different after my second week of injecting...

Well, those things will definitely play into low testosterone . When it comes to depression, low T levels (hypogonadism) is directly linked to it. It's quite possible restoring youthful T levels will mitigate your depression as you are already seeing. The only thing that will happen when you remove cease your HRT is that you'll return to your previous levels. It will not sustain at a higher level.
With PCT you stand a much stronger (and quicker) chance of returning to your pre TRT levels. Without PCT it will take much longer for your HPTA to start on it's own without stimuli.
I'd suggest continuing your injections at least until you pull blood work. Then choose your course of action. You also need to know that being overweight and adding testosterone will cause an increase in estrogen. This has to be controlled. The more body fat one has the more turnover of T to E will occur, compounding the issue. This is why a competent doctor should be involved. When it comes to checking blood work, I would not check it until at least 4 full weeks of TRT. Be sure you obtain a Sensitive Estrogen Assay as opposed to standard estradiol, which is geared to women and can be quite inacurrate in men. If possible, pull your blood work on the morning of an injection day but before you inject. This will give you your trough level.
How old are you and what is your current height and weight?

I'm 30 and 6ft1
I decided to keep going and did another injection today, will finish this up and see where I'm going from here. Something honestly has changed, and I'm sure the added test has contributed to that in my life but I've been changing. When I say low test, my number was nearing below 200, I'll get some new bloods for sure and about the T to E conversion we will be looking at that and added options when I'm done with cycle per the doc, Also I already have gyno at 270lb and maybe 35% body fat so I have a lot of work to do but I see the journey I am on.

If you are legitimate TRT there is no quitting and it isn't called a cycle when you're dong it for the rest of your life.
Did you get diagnosed from a doctor and get your test from a pharmacy or did you get a blood test and you and the bros decided to start blasting?
Low T is serious and TRT is for life!
