DHEA and Acne
On 5 August, the new TRT doc's np (a female) told me to add dhea 25mg daily, to my regimen. I immediately broke out in ACNE and developed really oily skin despite showering 2-3 times a day.
I stopped the DHEA after BW on Wed (20 Sep). The skin is already less oily. How long does it take to get back to normal (no oil or acne)? And, is it cool to never take DHEA again?

I can promise you that my acne goes balls to the wall anytime my hormones swing. Beginning and post cycle it gets outrageous. Gonna hit tren pretty hard starting earlier today so here it comes. Mine always tapers off a bit after a while.

I learned this and provide it because it might help someone:
Stopping 25mg of DHEA cold turkey can raise your blood pressure by 15 points. IME (in my experience).

What was the purpose of adding dhea? I figured it for a test booster for 'naturals'.

Not sure, the nurse practioner working for my TRT doc told me too. I imagine that she tells this to others who are not taking exogenous test. My next appointment will be with the doc himself, they charge more for that. And, I'll avoid female medical personnel who give advice on male hormone replacements.
