Ibuprofen may cause primary hypogonadism
Hey ibuprofen users, here's a very recent interesting study that seems to indicate that even small amounts of ibuprofen may contribute to primary hypogonadism. I need to read the article much more closely, but it should raise some heads. I'm actually more concerned to find out if naproxen is also suspect. I've taken quite a bit of it over the year for foot problems and more recently for elbow problems from some recent orthopedic surgery.
Ibuprofen alters human testicular physiology to produce a state of compensated hypogonadism

I read it a little closer and it does not discuss naproxen at all, but it's probably the whole drug category of NSAIDs. They did cite one paper that showed that men who volunteered to take acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), coadministered
with HCG ) had lower levels of steroidal hormones than controls exposed to HCG but not to the analgesic. Not good news for those of us needing to take these drugs on a regular basis.

This is very interesting, I had to take NSAIDs for almost 2 years daily, it might have contributed to my low T.
