    Blood in Syringe and Aspirated

Hi Everyone! Today when I did an injection of tcyp I went to inject and needle had a hard time going in through skin, was a bit painful. When I went to aspirate nothing came out. Was a little painful to inject and when I pulled the needle out there were a few drops of blood in the syringe and I bled more than normal. Couldn't find a post on this. Is the reason for the needle hard to be put in that it was scar tissue? New needle 23g. Also did I bust a vein? Is that reason for blood? I am not worried about it, but curious.

Odds are you simply nicked or passed through a vein, that's all. Poking holes in skin = blood occasionally. No worries.

If you injected into a vein you'd know it.

That makes sense! Thanks for the reply. And yes! Did inject into a vein once. Felt like I was going to die! Have always aspirated since.

Why are you using such a huge needle? I find that there's no reason to go larger than a 25G and I routinely use a 28G. Takes a little work to draw up, but so worth it in comfort. Also, no need to aspirate when using a 1/2 inch needle attached to an insulin syringe.

I ran out of 25 gauge. Had to pick up what I could at local pharmacy. Sometimes they won't sell them. Had to order from doc. I typically draw with a 21gauge and then change to a 25guage.

Have you tried TotalDiabetesSupply.com? They ship to your door, fast, reliable, and have very reasonable prices. Most states allow for home shipment of diabetic supplies without a prescription.

try pinning Tren Base with anything smaller then 23g. it will get clogged. I use 23g, 25g, and 28g . just depends on the compound ran and the place I pin

Never thought about that. Even my test is slow on a 25g. Pin is easier with 25vs23 though. Will keep in mind for different compounds in future.

I've tried pinning Tren base with 25g several times.. every time half way through the injection it stops and I have to pull back and re try. but with 23 g it flows smooth with no probs.

thats what sucks about Tren Base, cause I like to use it pre workout and would be nice to just have a bunch of slin pins filled up with it ahead of time and ready to go
