    Blood Vs. Saliva Testing

    I was wondering what is more accurate Blood or Saliva hormone testing?

    I would go with blood purely for the reason that it is not ever in contact with air. Its taken from your vody in a vacuum and sent away.

    Its what most people use to test.

    Ive never used saliva though so thats my one sided opinion fwiw

    KingKong I actually had read that article too. It didn't give a defined choice either way, but it brings up a point HZ made the way it is collected. Saliva is collected at home and there is room for contamination where blood the chances are slim.

    Your guess is as good as mine I just googled it..I’ve always done blood that doesn’t mean it’s a better choice though..

    well , pull bloods and saliva at same time.

    won't even be close.

    we are looking fori literal "blood plasma concentrations " of hormones and lipids.

    they are not going to be present in spit.

    you might be right..I have no clue. I entered the question in google..I will be going for blood test regardless because that’s what I’ve did for 20 years
