What TRT dose are you on and what is your blood pressure?

    Hi all,

Considering going on TRT. Current AAS user and, when on cycle, my blood pressure can get high. Just wondered what to expect from TRT as blood pressure worries me.

What TRT dose are you on and what is your blood pressure?

My TRT dose is 150mg/wk and my normal, noncycle, blood pressure is about 118/68. I'm on a Test/Tren cycle right now and my blood pressure is 132/80.

If on a normal, healthy dose of TRT you should not have BP issues.

Exactly what I was going to say! Blood pressure issues are typically associated with high hemoglobin, which should not happen if TRT is done right. At worst, you should be able to control it with regular blood donations. However, when guys jack up their T levels too high and try to convince themselves it's TRT, that's when BP becomes a problem. If you are on a twice a week or E3D protocol, rarely do guys need to go over a total of 120 mg of T-cyp or T-eth per week. At that dose, hemoglobin will hover around the upper end of the range, but should be controllable with donations.

Bumping this "old" thread. I haven't ever taken steroids , but I have naturally higher-than-normal blood pressure. I'm taking medication for it and it sits around 125/75, with a heart rate of 60-65 bpm. Could I safely cycle or stay on a TRT dose of 2-300 mg Test E / week? I'm 32 btw.

SCOTCH, what's your AI protocol on 150mg a week?

I'm on 150mg of Test E (two 75mg per week). Don't recall blood pressure off hand but its always been in normal range. On year 7 of TRT. No AI required.

Legit question: Is AI even needed if you are taking < 250mg test/week ? Or to better phrase the question, how many mg/week before you need to start thinking about AI?

I've been on 150mg for a while now and so far things are smooth. b/p is about 127/85 somewhere around there

I'm also trying out a new TRT protocol for me since 150mg test e twice a week kind of brings me levels a bit too high in my opinion so in about three weeks I'm on 125mg test e for a month and will see if lowering my dose will be better
No blood pressure issues but my red blood cells are always kind of high so I'm always donating and usually on low dose aspirin anyway

I may stick with 150mg for as long as I need to but kind of feel like lowering it a little bit and trying that out

Depends on the individual, an AI isn't really needed if you're injecting 100mg x2 week total = 200mg but it does come down to everyone is a bit different and if you're heavier in body fat and do have estrogen issues than may as well add the AI but really it isn't needed in all cases. Personal preference maybe?

    100 Mg x 2 = 200mg weekly.. is ALOT for TRT..
More than likely AI is needed for such a dose ..
