Has the Finasteride helped with the BPH? Did you get a prostate MRI and if so do you know the prostate size? I don't even know if i have BPH as the issue was first the prostate MRI which slowed low likelihood of cancer.

The high PSA as the doctor confirmed might be a result of the stone as well as there are a couple of small kidney stones around too.

You should see your psa drop when the stones clear. Kidney stones cause UTI's so I'd bet you'll see improvement.
Yes, the fine helped greatly with my bph and keeps me in range now. Fortunately zero sides for me.
Yes, I went and had a 3T MRI which is the most advanced / sensitive scan for prostate cancer. Plus it's non-invasive meaning they're not sticking anything up your ass, which is a plus for most people....

I was just doing some recreational reading while at work and ran across this. Even though for the most part it's obvious but they are also talking about the study and results of using Alpha-1 & PDE-5 inhibitors together.

Getting the stone out January 4th. In the meantime, I am seeing some NP from the original scumbag urologist I started this thread about. I am concerned that I might have a problem getting my test refilled. I have a bit left but this is exactly why I have reserves which I have dipped into.

I did a video chat with the specialist who will be removing the bladder stone and that went well. He's as high on the food chain as it gets to do this and I'm glad I found him.

The bladder stone is about 1.25cm and I have to figure this is causing most of the issues I am having. The doctor explained, some guys have much larger stones and have no symptoms whatsoever. But taken as a whole, with the timing of the rising PSA that started 3 or so years.

Bladder stones can be caused by not completely emptying the bladder and the remaining urine can slowly start to crystalize and form the stone...OR my hunch, is that a small kidney stone made it's way to the bladder and that combined with everything else turned it into a bladder stone...The doctor said either scenario is possible, no way or knowing.

Prostate size is obviously enlarged to I think 63 grams..I guess after the procedure, I'll regroup and figure out a plan on monitoring and treating. Obviously not with the original urologist who routinely has all his patients stop Testosterone for no reason.

    Happy New Year!

Well surprisingly douchbag urologist, refilled my test. He's the kind of guy who normally likes to take time from his busy day to actually call personally to tell me things like "Not filling your prescription". I guess he knew we'd both not enjoy the conversation.

    Meanwhile, I'll take it!

Did a full battery of test required by the hospital before the surgery Monday. Figured I'd get a PSA result knowing that it's going to be high (probably i guess) and then compare it in a month or so after the stone is removed and I get a full blood workup.

    Goodbye 2020!

With a sudden spike like I think you said you had, you might ask about it. It's probably cheaper and definitely easier than any test there might be (I don't even know if there is one).

Edit: actually, I don't see your previous PSA score. Do you have it for comparison?
Edit 2: Ok, I do see your previous PSA was 3.95. I would probably still give the antibiotics a shot.
Do you by chance have your DHT numbers?
This was a good reply and a good thread original post, I'll have to read later in depth, both testingme and Cylon.... I was sitting on a computer chair for a while working on my plans and i noticed that area sort of irritating me, granted, I had eaten some spicy food.... spicy food aggravates the prostate.

well, thankfully, that prostate area irritation hasn't come back for a while...so i think you are right, it does come and go...
then i google prostatits, sitting for prolonged periods can cause it, hopefully you are right and it does come and go...

I wish you well....hopefully some of that karma will come back to me as i got a annual physical tomorrow; please Pray and send good Vibes my way; i am very good about my health: go to the dentists 2x a year like suggested

but somehow the physical ur supposed to do every year, i hadn't done since 2017. (3 years ago)

hopefully i have no kidney or internal organ damage / problems, and if God forbid, there is some, then it's only temporary.

i decided to go natural this year, threw all my gear, except the pct nolvadex and arimidex ) in the trash after watching a Flex Wheeler documentary / interview on youtube..... not worth it, this latest health scare where my left and right flank feels stingy might hopefully be just indigestion.... stomach acid...but it could be soemthing with my kidneys

If I make it out of this physical tomorrow, in good shape, ... well more like a week from tomorrow after the lab tests come out ok.....I'm going to brain storm ways to keep the internal organs healthy and disease free and probably do a Blog here... or post a thread on the topic, my contribution or form a gift.... thanks
