HRT Clinic Legit?
I'm currently on HRT. I'm not worried about my clinic, but always researching options.
So question 1) Are we allowed to name an advertised HRT clinic and ask if it's legit? This isn't a "source check." It's an actual HRT clinic. At least they advertise as one. Keep reading as to why I have questions...
I get corticosteroid injections in both knees and one shoulder every few months and have for years. Those injections cause weakness in the bones, ligaments, and tendons. My research tells me I could benefit from a low dose regiment of Var.
Low and behold, I run across this HRT clinic that offers Var. In speaking with the rep he also says, hey, you have joint pain. You may benefit from Deca . We offer that, too!
So red flag #2. I've heard that taking Deca post 40 is a no-no (I'm 47 1/2 so yeah).
Red flag #3. Their Var Rx comes in 50mg. I thought the legit pharmaceutical stuff only came in 2.5mg and 5mg tabs. I know there are UGLs that make tabs and caps that big, but legit pharmaceutical.

Yes, you can name and discuss them.
Exactly what type of knee injections? We may have discussed this in another thread.
Var is great for collagen synthesis. I'm scripted it actually in 10 mg tabs. Not familiar with 50's in the states. Maybe from over-seas.
Deca post 40 bad? Negative. Deca is a godsend for joint issues. Been on it for years as have many here and in the TRT world.

It's Viking Alternative Medicine, an HRT clinic based out of Florida.
My Deca comment was based on comments going back and forth in the over 40 forum, which is why I ask.
My greater concern is the 50mg Var. Maybe the rep was saying that's the normal dosage and not the tab. So it's possible I misunderstood him. Hoping so, because I'd really rather have standard dosage Rx tabs.
I have a follow up consultation scheduled with them in a couple weeks. That's one question I'll cover then.

I've never used a clinic. Only one I'm familar with would be Defy Medical as I'm familiar with some of their doctors. But remember, clinics are there to make money. Yes, they have to be cognizant of your health but not to the same extent as your personal doctor would be, imho.
Re the 50 mgs var. No doubt they can be cut in half. 50 mgs is more of a BB'ing dosage, not medicinal therapy. Regarding your follow up consult. Take the time and write down your questions ahead of time. Nothing worse than speaking to your doctor (via any medium) and realizing you forgot an important question.
Update this thread with your results please.

Viking is good to go. Completely legit. I and a few friends have been with them since they opened last year. Sam the owner even has a YouTube channel...Live like a viking.

Yep they sound legit. I'm switching my HRT treatment to them.
Talked to Sam again and they offer Var in 20, 25, and 50mg.
