Dietary Amino Acids and TRT Therapy?
Hey all, I am running through my pros and cons list of considering TRT. I will of course consult a doctor in my final decision. This may be a stupid question but does TRT therapy in any way assist or does having a normal testosterone level assist in protein or amino acid shuttling to the muscle? Notice I am not saying muscle growth because it blatantly obvious that test works in protein accretion but I am wondering... for those individuals that have low T, they can have low muscle mass because they don't get enough protein. Naturally because for whatever reason they don't like eating protein. Does having a normal or slightly above normal test level increase protein efficiency to the muscle? Meaning... I am wondering let say your needs require 200 g of protein for your frame and current goals but your only getting 150 g. 150 g with test I assume, there are more amino acids being shuttled to the muscle for recovery than if one has a low t level. No?
