Being switched from hcg to clomid

I'm on trt and they have been giving hcg along with the testosterone which I thought was the ideal way to go. They called today and they are switching the hcg to clomid. Does it really matter? Both try to keep the boys going naturally.

This is a big trt provider, I wonder if they are having trouble getting hcg.

They are almost certainly having supply issues with hcg. I don't think clomid is a real replacement, but I do hear that more providers are scripting it for trt with test. That's all I know about that.

I will say that you should ask for enclomiphene instead of clomid. If this is a place like Defy or similar, they should very much be aware of enclo.
