How long to take anastrozole?
I started having some nipple sensitivity so I started on anastrozole as prescribed by my TRT doctor. Waiting on him to get back to me, but also looking for some inside first person experience. How long would most take the anastrozole? Do you just take it till symptoms stop or is it something you stay on once you realize you need it?

The duration and dosage depends on your E2 levels. It may be possible to slightly lower dosage and not need an AI, or an AI may become a part of your TRT.
Occasionally, if the bf% is high, lower the bf%< can reduce conversion to E2.
Did your Dr. check your E2 levels or just prescribe anastrozole based on your symptoms?Last edited by almostgone; 06-24-2022 at 01:04 PM.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Initial dose is due to symptoms, but blood test required in 1 month so we can see if reduction is needed. Looks like this is the right way to go as about a week on it and the symptoms are gone. Looks like I am probably a little high and we will get that fixed at the end of the month.
Yea I am really working on diet right now and hoping to get BF% lower so hopefully eventually not need it at all in the future at some point.
