    Bloodwork Results

What’s up guys! Just got the labs back from my latest blood work. Just looking for good feedback. Currently taking .6 every 3 1/2 days (Wednesday AM, Sat PM) of Test Cyp along with 1mg Arimidex per week. Had some ED issues going on is the main reason I started with the AI. Seem to resolve the issue.

Thanks for sharing Lfrank. Why would ED issues provide an indication to take arimidex ? Taking healthy estrogen and tanking your levels/ratio would likely make your situation worse.

I agree with Vette. Generally low E2 is more likely to give you libido issues/ED.

1 mg of anastrozole/week for 240mg of cyp/week is almost guaranteed to be overkill.

I don't see any E2 related blood work. Are you doing the anastrozole based on the E2 issues or blood work?

Edit: I see you posted E2 as 29. I wouldn't be using an AI at that value.
If 29 is your E2 value while using 1mg of anastrozole, I would drop the anastrozole and see where your E2 values are naturally. You have plenty of room to lower your dosage if necessary. Most guys feel better with their E2 at the upper end of the range.

Sorry maybe I should have explained better. I was having high estrogen symptoms related to ED before I ever started taking an AI. The drive was there but the tool wasn’t working lol. I was sweating while sleeping and just felt like crap. At this point, I started taking a 1mg Arimidex pill with my first weekly injection (3-4 weeks ago). I’m not sure of my E2 levels at this point. Since then, I have had hardly any ED issues (pun intended) and the blood work reveals the 29 number after taking 3-4 mg of Arimidex total over the last month. Hope that clears it up.

Personally, I would opt to lower your T dosage to .3 ml twice per week, drop the anastrozole entirely, then pull total T, free T, and sensitive E2 or ultrasensitive E2 again in ~6 weeks. Whichever E2 panel you choose, sensitive or ultrasensitive, stick with that panel in the future.

    That's just a suggestion.

Thanks for the insight. If I may ask, why are you against taking the anastrozole? Is there something I need to know that I do not?? Generally speaking, I do not know much on the topic of AI’s other than the things you hear about.

Most guys can easily crush their E2 with overuse of an aromatase inhibitor, particularly anastrozole. There's nothing wrong with anastrozole/ai usage if your physiology requires it. However, a bottomed out E2 generally leads to problems in the bedroom and joint pain. Also, some guys aren't aware that some estrogen in males is actually beneficial.

So, that's why most are cautious with use of an aromatase inhibitor. It is generally preferred to slightly lower the dosage provided you still " feel good". With your dosage being at/over the typical TRT dosage, slightly lowering the dosage and dropping the anastrozole is the preferable option.
