Ok, when you feel like your protocol is settled, take a look at nolvadex . It is a SERM that has been clinically proven as effective in reversing gyno. It doesn't work for every man, but probably most.
You might also look at adding masteron for a short time at a relatively low dose. This one is going to be tricky, because the combo of low dose mast and 25mg proviron per day tanked my estradiol. But, the combination of low estrogen, higher dht, and mast binding to the estrogen receptors in the breast make for a very inhospitable atmosphere for gyno to survive.
BTW, the higher dht I mentioned is, in my case, a result of the lowered SHBG I experienced from the mast and proviron combo. Mostly the mast, tbh.
All that said, just keep that in your back pocket for when you get your trt protocol worked out. You could start some of that now, but I would hold off just a bit longer until you get your doses dialed in and feel good.

I mean I feel pretty good now.
I guess I'm more concerned and confused around the sleep apnea part. Yes I realize apnea and aas aren't the best combinations, but there's a lot of inherent risks with taking these drugs whether trt level or cycling.
So for now, I'll have my appt with the sleep specialist and see what he says.
My biggest issue though is my inability to breath normally through my nose at night. That's not apnea. I wanna see about getting that resolved first. Then perhaps my apnea isn't an issue at all.

Brace yourself for disappointment listening to what a sleep specialist says. While difficult to digest while suffering from sleep issues, I believe you realize no amount of weight loss or sinus surgery will remedy your sleeping challenges while experimenting long term with anabolic steroids (/trt). Best advice I know you likely will not take easily is to immediately seek out a CPAP, find a nasal pillow you jive with and commit to using it...as it's required equipment for aging users of performance enhancing drugs (getting old sucks). GL teed, take it or leave it from someone who wasted years and spent a fortune to breath normally at night.

I appreciate the advice. My problem with cpap is this. I can't breath out of my nose at night at all. Hence my wanting see see about options for fixing my sinus/breathing issues before worrying about apnea. I tried to get used to a mask before and couldn't. Maybe after a longer time using it I could. Who knows. The sleep study i had 20 years ago forced me to sleep on my back due to all the electrodes and crap. Because of that, I honestly feel that test was skewed and wasn't indicative of how I sleep every single night. So perhaps my osa isn't that severe.
We'll see how this new sleep dr works out.

I know you are right but I am one of those that I could not get use to a CPAP and had one of the newer models. I tried for a couple of months and got less sleep with it than without.
Im not over weight and I have had Several nasal surgeries. My biggest problem is really fibromyalgia and not so much Sleep Apnia like they originally though. My sleep doctor says fibromyalgia can sort of disguise itself as Sleep Apnia since its pretty much over diagnosed these days. I wake up because my joints get stiff and hurt after a short time of none movement.
Something to think about. How do you feel? Are you always stiff/sore?

Thank You! I tried as well to wear the mask. My issues are again, I cant breath our of my nose at night, so I had to wear the mouth and nose covering mask type. Yes, I was waking up more to put the mask back where it should be than with any sleep apnea episodes I had.
My thought was perhaps correcting my sinus issues....and there are more than one....ie deviated septum along with allergies or sinusitis, and perhaps polyps....once that was corrected, if possible, then maybe I could find a mask that worked.
There are other alternates to the mask that I've been checking into. One is Inspire..the implant, but pretty sure I dont think I want that done. There's also a mouth piece called iQoro. Which is basically a device one uses several times a day for a few minutes at a time to strengthen the mouth and tongue muscles.
Anyway, we'll see in 10 days what he says. Again, I honestly dont think my apnea is that bad. IF, and thats a big if, I have a sleep study again, I want to make sure I sleep on my sides like I do every night. Then see if or how my tongue would fall back into my throat...or if my throat closes up at all.Last edited by teedoff; 02-19-2023 at 08:56 AM.

To reiterate, the best advice given to me (that I didn't act on, regretfully) from my favorite anabolic distributor, was to purchase a CPAP off Craigslist (one that you can buy supplies off Amazon going fwd). The cucking of the sleep doc racket is ridiculous for those who are reasonably healthy...it's unreal to need an Rx to get a replacement plastic tube, ffs. Further, it took multiple tries to suffer enough during sleep testing to qualify for insurance to cooperate (had to drink and take a benzo) - totally empathize with the awful experiences....
For those with temperamental sinuses, and especially in combination for folks whose vice may be occasional stomach sleeping...the ace up your sleeve is the nasal gel pillow - it'll help transition mouth breathers and force better sleep by breathing through your nose. While difficult to articulate, CPAP machine is my favorite ped, will never leave home without it.

Can relate brother, spine injury dramatically affected my ability to sleep. Like you, I've never been overweight and have had several nasal operations which complicate breathing. Took upwards of 9 months to a year to get used to CPAP machine...had to overcome many panic attacks to dial in, it was war (worth winning).
