    Kallman Syndrome

I have been self administering TRT for 10 years but now I want to get the doctors prescription.

I came off of TRT so that my Test and all other levels would be low when I went to my endocrinologist. After my levels were low, he referred me to get a chromosome test/brain scan done. He told me I was done with blood test so I hoped back on the Testosterone (underground). I have a small adenoma in the brain but nothing that would cause the low T.

He will prescribe TRT but is referring me to get tested for Kallman syndrome. If I have it then I have to freeze my sperm before I go on TRT. I think this is overkill but whatever Ill do the test.

The way they test for Kallman's are below (https://www.chop.edu/conditions-dise...ann-syndrome):

-Blood tests looking specifically at hormone levels in the peripheral veins that originate from the pituitary gland
-Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and nose to look for anatomical abnormalities
-Molecular genetic testing to look for specific gene mutations

Will I have to get off my self administered TRT for this Kallman Syndrome test?

The time to be freezing sperm was before you spent 10 years on self administered trt.

I would be surprised if anyone can speak directly to Kallman Syndrome, but you never know...
