HCG dosage for TRT

Doc prescribed HCG @ 1000 iu twice per week to bring my boys back. I have been on hrt for over a year now taking 100mg test c every week. I discussed fertility with my doc and told him maybe someday I would like to have children so he prescribed me HCG. Is 1000 iu twice a week the typical HCG dosage and can anyone share any positive/negative effects while on HCG?

its ok for short term use.. but not for long term.. did you doc say how long he wanted you to do this?

Only for a month or two. Should go to 250 3x week or 2x week after that. Milage may vary.

My Urologist/endo/fertili DR has me on 1500iu/3x week for the past 2 months. My test was 165 after a 15 week cycle of test/decca, even with a PCT and HCG use on cycle. Somewhere something got screwed up on me. Anyway, ive expressed concern about the long term HCG use and he has no problem with it as thats why he uses for low test treatment with people looking to have kids. I go back next week for BW, so hopefully theres an improvement, otherwise, looks like im goign on TRT unfortunately. I am only 28.
