Total Test results after one month of weekly injections

yesterday I had blood work done to see what results were taking place after 4 weeks of weekly injections of 100mg. I got the total results before I left with the Free and Estradiol results next week. My total was 585 (after 4pm), 4 weeks ago my total was 390 evening test. My morning results were 540. I was tested for both morning and evening. I am 51 years old. The Doc still increased my injections to 120mg. I was surprised that my evening total came up so much with so little, he actually thought it would decrease by shutting my own down. It will be interesting to see what my free does along with the estradiol. I know one thing , I feel really good and my strength is going thru the roof. All my lifts are up.

The clinic I go to is able to run your total test results in about 15 to 20 minutes, all other blood work takes a few days. They did take my total before the injection. They do that every 4th week. These were the results 4 weeks ago. They are treating me for my symptoms of low free. As gdevine said the numbers look pretty good for a 51 year old male but my prolactin being so low may have caused my low libido. All symptoms are really good right now, I cant believe what a difference I feel for the next 4 days after the injections. I was getting a headache the day after like my blood pressure was high, I quit taking creatine and all those symptoms went away. I will say I never had that problem with creatine before injections.

Shgb while in range is still taking up some t. Might look into trying to lower it some imo.

By undergoing TRT

While there are some ways to lower it without test injections, they do not work in the long term or they provide only marginal effect.

With supplemental test, your body will naturally lower SHBG (usually about 25%, maybe more).

Some also supplement their TRT with danazol, which will lower SHBG even further, but that's questionable therapy since you can raise free test by just increasing your dosage.

Maybe should have added that there's nothing wrong with trying to lower SHBG though a good diet and natural supplements. Some say fish oils help, but regardless, they are a nice complement in their own right.

Thanks for all the comments, I think my supplement routine is solid along with my diet. Before the last 2 years my bodyfat was less than 10%. I think for me to get the best results will continue with supplemental test. The doc did tell me that next week we would probably be adding a AI and HCG injections, depending on the blood work.

Keep in mind you don't want SHBG too low. Just like estrogen, we don't want to eliminate really... anything. Maybe cancer... but I'm sure theres some weird way that cancer cells might actually serve a useful purpose.

just got my results on my free testosterone after one month, my free jumped to 16.2. My estrogen level was 21 after one month of TRT.

My free jumped from 8.6 pg/ml to 16.2 pg/ml. libido is way up, energy levels are up, just feel more positive about everything. My lifts are continuing to go up.
