**MUST READ** Read and tell me what you would do ?
This thread should prolly be in the lounge but the only people that would appreciate it would be in here ! So please for give me if it offends you for this post being in here !
So i sat down with one of my employees for their yearly evaluation. During the discussing I told (will call him tommy) Tommy is everything OK ? The past few months you have seemed to be really on edge and angry ? He simply replied "Its roid rage ", I said excuse me ? (tommy is a short pot belly putz) He said "I went to see my doctor about 5 months ago and he told me I had symptoms of low testosterone , so he has me come in once a month and get 1cc of some sort of test, I'm not really sure." I said once a month ? He said " you wouldn't understand, my doctor told me that this is normal for me to be aggravated." I began to tell him that I read a lot of articles regarding low T and was quite knowledgeable about the subject. He said "not as familiar as i am" I said "you don't even know what your taking ?????" he quickly replied "doesn't matter" All I said was "WOW" he said " I usually don't talk about it to much cause athletes have given this a bad name" I said " I only want to ask you one more questions and we don't have to talk about it ever again, is your doctor monitoring your blood work ?" he said "what the hell for ?" I said "never mind, good luck and have a nice day"
I couldn't believe it. I thought the whole thing was a joke and he was going to say "GOTCHA" but he was 100% serious. I cant believe that their are guys like him and doctors like him out in the world. It drives me nuts. It truely makes you wonder how many others are out there like him getting shi##y advice and f'ing up there body and don't have a clue.
What would have you guys have done if you where in my shoes ??????????????Last edited by Henryhill470; 01-13-2013 at 10:30 PM.

Just leave it bro's, he's probably going off his symptoms as oppose to numbers. I would also go off personal symptoms and how I feel as oppose to specific numbers and a doctor telling me how I should feel.

That's really sad. The doctor is ruining his life and the guy is messed up even more than before. Now he is not only suffering from low T he is on the roller coaster ride (mostly down) and having to battle with emotions; thus not willing to talk or listen to you.
Your a good guy for trying and that's all you can do. You cant force it down his throat and no matter what I would not devoldge to much to him because he seems to have a negative attitude about the whole thing and may turn it on you.
I would tell him when the time seems right that you are still willing to talk to him and help him anytime he wants and your door is open.
Good luck and hope it works out.

Wow. Reality is you're not going to get through to him & you cetainly dont want your other employees finding out if you're on TRT. IDK, I've found that some people are just clueless in all aspects of their life. You give them advice & there's just no getting through to them. I've got a friend who's on gel. He's about 50 lbs overweight, heart problems, no HCG , no AI. His Doc has his Test levels in the 300 range and says everything's fine. I keep telling him that he should dump this Doc and seek proper care. He agrees, but gets fatter everytime I see him in the gym. Not even worth your breath...

Some people believe that doctors can do no wrong and know everything and a simpleton like yourself who does not have a MD could not know more than the doctor when it comes to anything medical?
Seeing an MD for TRT is like taking your car in to have the transmission rebuild at an auto detail shop. lol

Id probably fire him. He doesn't sound like a very good employee. I would not let an employee talk to me like that.

Print out some relevant info regarding proper protocols and give it to him. Tell him you just googled it and he should f'n read it. He'd feel better and probably be a more productive, happy employee.

You've done enough. Leave it alone. His bad attitude makes me think he might accuse you of harrassing him. This is not a couple of friends chit-chatting. This is a professional relationship. He's a big boy (and sounds like a jerk, too). Or, just fire him.

Depends on the state. If you are fired with cause you can be denied unemployment. My buddy is the controller for a big resort and be fights pretty much all unemployment claims. Wins most too. Document what happened to lead to the firing and there's a good chance you'll win.

As an employer myself, mabey if you set him on the right track he'll be more productive for you.
Tell him "I heard from this guy who heard from this other guy, that if you take 1cc a week and HCG that............"

Maybe he was really upset about something else and he randomly just made the whole steroid thing up...You never know....
Could even be perhaps he knows you're taking it and said it for that reason to...
Anywho, if it is what it is just tell him your good friend has been on TRT for a long time and he tells me all about it....Then you could say I'll ask him for some information and then school that youngster ha ha

I always say... the people on these forums are very much the minority.
There are plenty of guys out there living in the dark ages being treated by doctors with 3 weeks of training in medical school about testosterone replacement .

Ran into a guy this morning at the gym..............He's 48, had low T, his Doctor has him on one injection every 2 weeks. He didnt know how much he is being given. Just shows up and gets a shot. Says he feels better, but has only been 3 months. I wrote down this web site, and told him to stop by and READ !!!
