How much protein?
During a IGF cycle what is optimal, 2 grams per pound of bodyweight or 3 grams per pound?

If you're using it to bulk, your carb/protein ratio would be different than if you were cutting.

Now,if this BBer decided to do a traditional bulk,he'd be substancially upping his carb intake.Knowing that carbs are protein sparing,he can reduce his protein intake by 50 g easily a day. There would be no need for excess protein at that point. The risk would be excess protein turning into BF.That is very common knowledge.
My conclusion is to keep your protein needs dependent on your diet and goals, be it bulking or cutting.IGF alone does not dicate a dietary change.Always keep your protein high as possible in every diet, but don't exceed.
