I heard about that, I am unsure if it has been approved though. I believe it is a spray or something like that, yes no? It's been a while since I saw the article on it so I can't excatly remember the full story.

Gel? Sounds interesting, but it also sounds like it would be hard to measure, and getting the measurements wrong is the last thing you want when it comes to insulin use. Is it in a syringe that you squirt out or?
It would be good if he could take a pic, I'd love to see what it looks like.

As a diabetic myself I know I havent heard of any approved oral insulin . I know they are in testing stages with a couple of them but unless it is absorded sublingualy (sp) then I doubt it will have much efficency. Insulin is a very delicate compound, and gastric acid does a number on it very quickly. too quickly to pass through the stomach wall intact.
I would also have to agree with Gear in that Insulin is not something you want to use without being VERY sure of the quantity you are getting. I had a friend of mine who used mine OS one time and twice he went out at the gym to the point that I had to get some serious sports drinks in him. his gains were incredible, but the point of the story is just be very very careful.
