Is there a risk using HGH if you are taking Insulin as a diabetic?

I can only speak from my own experience.I am diabetic and asked my endocrinologist about it.He said it would make my blood sugar run high.Well you know I didnt listen and did a cycle of AAS along with GH and my sugar ran from a stable number of between 90 and 160 to 225 to 310.So I would be careful.AAS doesnt mess with my blood sugar but gh will.

HGH lowers blood-glucose shortly afer injection, but then it has a glycogen-sparing effect, cause of moer freee fatty acids, etc. , so your slin dose might be adjusted, but I think this is only an issue with the higher doses of HGH, would be intresting though, if a diabetic would take measurements while on GH.

There would certainly be a caution flag to be observed if you are pre-disposed to, are on diabetes meds, or are an insulin dependant diabetic. It is pretty well established that HGH interferes with glucose uptake by your tissues and liver. This is one of HGH's features ... it results in your cells having to resort to mobilizing and burning fat for fuel ... thus fat loss as a potential benefit ... but this results in higher circulating blood glucose levels, the degree of which really depends on the individual. In some folks it doesn't raise to the level to be a concern. For others it pretty immediately becomes an issue to deal with.

As a medication and/or insulin dependent diabetic, you already have a major problem with your cells not responding properly to insulin and /or your beta cells being too few or absent to deliver enough insulin for your body size.

These things being the case, I would suggest that at the very least, you would want to enter into HGH under some medical supervision. I wouldn't say that HGH would be completely out of the question, but I would certainly say caution is in order ... reckless use can indeed turn the pre-disposition for diabetes into a full blown problem.

I agree red baron 100%...I am diabetic and believe 2 days in to gh by blood sugar jumped up over 100 points. My sugar was out of control...leading to me having to take enormous amounts of insulin just to have a semi normal glucose level. My dr told me this would happen but I went ahead anyway. He also told me that raising sugar too high cause of the gh would affect my vision.
