    eatting after slin

I am taking humalog R. I take my shot and then drink the whey/dextrose at 10g per iu. Then I eat approx. an hour later. The problem I am having is that 1 hr later I am still stuffed from the shake. I dont remember this problem before slin but I am having a hell of a time getting down the meal 1 hr later. Anyone have this issue with slin? Do I need to eat 1 hr later or can I push it to 1.5 hrs? I have done the research but the meal is close to making me puke. I am currently taking 8ius pwo of slin.

I cant see any of those two answwrs helping one bit. If you drink the shake prior whats going to happend when the Slin peaks? If you delay the meal too long hypo will set in and you'll be playing catch up pounding down sodas.

IMO the best thing to do is just consume a little less food an hour later. Just enough to keep your blood sugar from dropping and not too much making you feel like you have to puke.

The absolute best thing to do here would be to get a BG monitor and check it at an hour post shot. If you'r stll feeling full push the meal in accordance to you BG levels. Cant go wrong with that one...
