    Anybody’s take on this subject>deiodinase supplementation/assist conversion T4 to T3

Ok ,I have a nurse friend (been a nurse for 30 yrs) that says that about 10% of the population does not respond to Thyroid meds. I think I may be in that 10% as I did not get the noted results (temp raise) I started (T4) at 50 mcg and raised it to 100mcg at three weeks. I stayed on it an additional 6 weeks. Is it a possibility that the below is true?

The key enzyme to convert T4 into T3?? (deiodinase)

CYSTEINE (Probably the most important amino acid to supplement for
hypothyroids. Key precursor to both glutathione and the deiodinase enzymes which convert T4 to T3. Assists zinc utilization, so it may be more important for hypos.

    Currently under study.

If you are hypothyroid: Take 500-1000 mg per day.Take 30-100 mg of zinc to increase thyroid production. If rapid heart beat is felt at night or early morning, decrease zinc.

PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE(Important source of choline which comes from lecithin and which is recommended as the best supplement to help correct cirrhosis of the liver and to promote liver health. The liver is a key organ for conversion of T4 to T3 and also for the production of bile to eliminate heavy metals like mercury which interrupt enzyme and endocrine function.
    Take (2) 1200 mg capsules a day

    vanadyl sulfate>conservative amount????
