Has anyone tried this for GH?

Lilly's innocuous pen-like injector looks to make the process of taking insulin a bit less invasive. The Huma-Pen Memoir resembles your average ink pen and shouldn't look too out of place holding it down in your tee's front pocket, but whenever you need a shot of insulin, it conveniently turns into an injector thanks to the hidden hypodermic needle encased within. The device also "allows the user to dial the amount of insulin they need to take," and keeps the dosage, date, and time of the previous 16 shots in order to keep diabetics from overdosing. Users should be able to utilize the same pen for "around three years," and after a needle is used, another is inserted and ready to go at the owners request. A few lucky participants have already received their pen here in the US, and while this nifty invention has been available across Europe for some time now, it will officially hit American retail shelves next week for around $45.

I like the idea of traveling with one of these and not having to worry about getting searched.

^^ yah, ill be traveling for about 10 days in a couple months....as of right now, i think i may just stop the hgh use for those 10 days due to packing pins for international flight...although a pen like this does provide options

Not sure if I would use it for GH as I inject every day @ the same time at home. When I start running Insulin , though, it make come in handy!

I was wondering the same thing. I almost bought another Lilly version yesterday because the Chinese made slin pins hurt like hell.

Do you have to change the pin on this regularly so it doesn't get dull?

I'm not so sure it could be. The pens i've looked at before require a pre-filled 1.5ml or 3ml insulin cartridge which you have to pre-load. You don't actually draw from a vial. Unless this particular pen is any different from the others that I have seen, then it's only use would be for insulin administration.

yeah you do... it can only last around 3 days unfridgerated in medium temperatures. If it's really hot out it can last only hours. Why else would diabetics keep it cold, just for fun?

lol I'm a diabetic and insulin dependent for 20 years

that's not even close to being accurate.

With a script. They take special insulin cartridges

hmm that's strange because when I went to the pharmacy and got my Humulin-R the pharmacist told me that

I keep my unopened vials in the fridge. Once i open it i never put it back. So its out for over a month. Also heat isn't the greatest thing for it but i never use ice packs in the summer. I go to the beach and what ever. If i go to the mall its sitting in my car in the summer. And in 20 years i never had a problem. All this shit isn't as fragile as everyone makes it out to be.
