Tearing the long head of the Biceps brachii is a common and serious sports related injury.... It useally occurs when the muscle is already weakened by tendinitis, during a "backward" movement of the arm. ie. throwing. this injury is most common in tennis, football and baseball, but often occurs in BB'ing. During this backward motion, tension is placed on the long head of the biceps' brachii, which is where the tendon passes thru the Biciptal groove of the humerous...
After tearing the distal tendon of the bicep, you need surgery to re-attach it to the radius. If it is not performed quickly, permanent retraction and shrinkage of the muscle will happen.
After your injury is diagnosed, (it is easy to see, you will know if you did it) swelling and hemorrhaging appears in the forearm. What is most noticable is the appearance of the Bicep branchii. Your bicep will retract to the verytop of your arm, which becomes ball shaped. It will rise to the very top of your arm, close to the pec and delt, revealing the brancialais (the small muscle that conects your biceps and wrist bone) that you can't normaly see. Surgery is the only way to fix it. Phisiotherapy will help you big time......

I am in the way of thinking that GH would help you, but I also think once you heal a little naturally, then you should start the GH. GH is something I am considereng using for my injuries, but since I have little to no experience with it, the best advice I can give you, is once it is healed, go see a physio therapist. I think that would be your best bet! Good luck! I hope your surgery went well today.Keep us posted!!

I would use the HGH, we know it wont hurt the process but could help it. I just had triple hernia surgery and am using 4 IU HGH a day. After just 2 weeks I am feeling up to lifting again. Im going back to the gym tonight for the first time since surgery. I think the HGH might have helped, but I will never know for sure.

I tore my left distal tricep tendon of the bone last summer. I had it reattached two weeks after injury and went through about 3-4 months of physical therapy. Around November I started in the gym with ridiculously light but therapeutic weight training. I started GH in December and have noticed slow but evident improvements in reduced pain and increased strength. Before the GH, pain was constant and strength was extremely slow in progression. I would recommend GH, but would wait at least three months to let the body heal itself naturally. You will need the GH later to help rejuvenate the area. Taking it too early may be a waste of money as you may not even be able to even lift your arm for a month depending on the PT track you take or if you are in a cast for a while. I was in PT two days after surgery which hurt like a Mo Fo. I am mixing in some test now which is helping even more.

I really dont understand the logic of waiting to use the HGH. Your wound will heal faster while on, so why wait? Use it for a good 6 months or more if you can, and I would go at least 4 IUs once you build up to it. YOu wont be able to do 4IU at the start, it will take you at least a month maybe to build up to that. Another reason to start right after surgery.

black hawk down.
I cant believe ill be out of the gym for 6 months, but im glad I got the surgery. Im in a cast/splint for 12 days then a metal brace for 6 weeks. After that I guess pt will start. Hgh will def be a option probably after I get out if the brace to let my body naturally heal.

Waiting for several months after surgery and PT is what my doctor recommended if he knew a patient was going to use pharma such as GH or deca , etc.
He knew I was referring to myself.
