    Unhappy Stubborn Tendon Injury

Ive got a tendon injury in my left bicep. I got it in August last year. Since then it hasnt healed. Its six months now. I made a mistake back then of not going on GH right away which might have speeded up recovery time.

I finally started with a GH cycle 18 days ago and so far the injury hasn't shown any signs of having improved at all. I am on 3 iu a day always on (for the time being - will switch to 5 on 2 off a little later). How long is it going to be before I see improvement? The injury is probably not very serious but it has been stubborn and has refused to heal.

I am not spot injecting. Should I spot inject GH to recover or will Subq injections do the job? Would GH work at all or should I be on IGF-1?

I need to recover quickly. I have lost 14 Lbs in six months as a result of not being able to work out at all. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have the same injury, from my left bi to start of forearm kind of burning/pain. Ive been on gh for over six months at 8iu's, still hurts. Deca is the only thing that makes it go away for me.

Im not sure that you are describing a tendon injury. Typically, Deca lubricates the joints, so if you have joint pain it may make it go away.

I have had this injury once before and I was on Deca but it didn't ease the pain. But back then the injury healed in two months flat. This was three years ago. Now I am over 30 and my reasoning is that this time I didnt heal as fast because I am a bit older now. So the GH should get me back to where I was in my early twenties in terms of healing power.

I'll see how it goes. If it doesn't heal, Ill see a physician and try to work it out.

However, I have read threads on this forum where some have fixed bad tendon injuries with GH and/or IGF-1 either by spot injections or by the usual subQ injections. Either way, I am hopeful. I will not, however, return to the gym until the injury heals completely. I don't mind spending an extra year out of the gym if this means I lift normally when I get back. I wouldn't want to do anything that makes the injury worse.

By the way, did you take time off the gym at all? if you keep lifting, even with GH, the injury cannot heal because everytime you lift, you put strain on your strained tendons and they get worse. So any healing by the GH would be temporary.

I am just guessing. If you took a lot of time off and it still didn't work, ignore this comment.

Na your probably right, I only took 3 weeks off. I saw my doctor he said it was definitly a tendon. I may have been hasty saying it was the deca , it goes away when Im on cycle. I think doing forearms aggravates it. Like you said your young, hopefully you'll heal right up, Im approaching the top of the hill, might be my problem.

I'm not sure if GH is all that effective as a spot injection (maybe for fat loss). But the main anabolic effect of GH comes from its release of IGF-1 in the body.

You would probably have much better luck with the spot injections of IGF-1, since pretty much whatever it touches that has the receptor will grow.
