the only time GH therapy is a viable method is before the growth plates are fused. once they are totally fused you cant grow any taller...

hgh will not make you grow buddy so please stop posting it will in every thread. the only way its even slightly possible is if taken at the begining of puberty and ran throughout and since everyone here is older then 12 i would say its useless

here is the problem... you want to get taller, you are going to have to do it a diff way. go get your leg bones broken streached and broken again to get 1 - 3 inches.
you asked the question (like three times ) and you keep hearing things you dont want to hear form people who know what they are saying
if you dont like to hear what they are saying then stop asking - go to a doc and get him to write you a script for 1 - 3 inches of hgh. if they wright it to you let me know so i can go to him to - i would like 30 more lbs of muscle (when you go can you ask him for me?)
any ways you originally posted you were like 15 as well... so, some where along this ride you going to have to tell the truth, and just let reality set in... 5 foot 5 is not bad... now go lift and become a monster
o ya, and one more thing be happy with your self!!! not with some hight issue that you are so conserned for that you are willing to lie, cheat and misrepresent the truth to others to get your way.

People grow till 25 ( majority). Even if its not noticable most people's growth plates aren't closed till 25. So your friend has a chance , but noone knows. If he goes to the doctor and takes tests - that's the only way to find out. They're measuring the bone dencity, blood work and more. Usually takes 5-6 months to be approved for HGH treatment. What I suggest is to look around government studies that he might qualify for and this way he'll get his GH for free. But in most cases they're looking either for kids 3-10years old. There are programs for old farts ( grannys and grandpa's) or programs for premature born children for studies to be on GH for 3 years following 1 year of withdrawal. THOSE ARE MOST COMMON, BUT...... there are still a chance to find a studies with his age group. Good luck !

Unless your bones have fused, then yeah there is a possibility for more growth.

You guys (looking for height) just do not get it.
GH is not the only factor determining longitudal bone growth in cases of short stature. This is the misconception many of you have here which is utterly unfounded.
First of all, if you are a child with SS (Sort Stature), you need to evaluate if you even have a GH deficiency which may or may not be a contributing factor.
Nobody ever talks about Estrogen for example. Steady Rising pubertal E is one of the major triggers of longitudinal bone growth in children.
See this thread for some more info:

this kingdom come guy just dosnt get it. you must be 4'9'' or something and desperate as hell but hgh WILL NOT make you grow taller. why dont you try it and let us know what you think because i have read numerous tests that prove it will not add height to a person unless its taken at the begining and throughout puberty and even though the odds are not high

if your bones are fused then there is no chance in hell...if they are not , there is a slight chance depending on age from what I know. BUT you won't be able to afford it on your own without insurance / doctor prescribed because the dose you need to take to get tall is ummm... A LOT ha ha..

I have seen it prescribed and taken over a two year period from 16 to 18 in a kid and he did in fact grow almost 3 and a half inches . it may or may not have been the result of gh . his bones still not fused . could be from all the stuff they put in hot dogs nowadays . all I know is that his doc is happy

Actually i dont have much experience on HGH but i know for a fact 100% you will not grow and taller.. i had a relative that had to use it when he was young to grow and when he turned 22 he was still short so he tried going on again to get a few more inches on and they ran it on him for about 2 years with no results at all.
So i would say since you cant grow taller u can always pump up and grow wider which aint that bad anyway, most bodybuliders are short

My point earlier was that you can be of short stature and STILL have normal GH function and IGF-1 levels.
GH is not the ONLY factor determining longitudinal bone growth. If GH deficiency is not the cause of your bone growth issues, then utilizing additional exogenous GH will accomplish NOTHING, even if your growth plates still have time to close.
This is why it is utterly idiotic to assume that if you just take GH, you will have a growth spurt. Androgens and lack of rising Estrogen levels during puberty are main factors that initiate longitudinal bone growth in addition to GH and IGF, as well as a slew of other factors.
Look at the bigger picture if you are really interested in what causes short stature.
