IGF-1 R3 Post workout can be taken for months!!
Heres an article saying that if you take igf-1 r3 post workout only you could effectively use it for months on end. Someone with real knowledge let me know if this is real because i really like this idea...............
Tips to mix and maximize Lyophilized Long R3 IGF-1:
1. Long R3 IGF-1 (Any other form of IGF-1 is not as effective).
Lr3IGF-1 (Long R3 Insulin -like Growth Factor-I or Long R3 IGF-1) is an 83 amino acid analog of human IGF-1 actually comprising the complete human IGF-1 sequence, but with the substitution of an Arg for the Glu at position 3, as well as a 13 amino acid extension peptide at the N-terminus.
This makes Long R3 IGF-I significantly more potent (2-3x) than IGF-I in studies, because it has a lower affinity to be rendered inactive by IGF binding proteins, and consequently more potential activity in the body because it.
2. Storage- the most popular (and most effective) way to store, transport, and preserve IGF-1 is by suspending it in acetic acid in a sterile vial.
This will keep your Long R3 IGF-1 99% potent for many months at a time in just about any indoor storage, I.E.-closet, drawer, etc.
3. Use - Usage should not exceed 4-5 weeks, and an OFF period should be about the same. Daily dosages work best (split up into 2 seems to make little difference in the Long R3 version).
Most people see results at about 40mcg/day, some use as low as 30mcg/day, and some folks even use 80-100mcg. I suggest to all first time users no matter what level, to start at about 40-50mcg/day. If you only using Long R3 IGF-1 PWO (post work out) then you can probably safely stay on it for months at a time. This allows your receptors to continue to stay fresh. Most people recommend injecting Long R3 IGF-1 directly after a workout.

Doesn't look like an article...
Anyhoo..
Post the original article including its references.. or post a link to it so that it's references, should there be any, can be reviewed.

It does not factor in organ growth for one.
lol@'allows the receptors to stay fresh'

For Narkissos, Merc and perfectbeast2001,
At what point with respect to dosage and length of cycle of Lr3 IGF-1 would you say that most will experience irreversible organ/intestinal growth?
Am I incorrect in the assumption that is it common for professional bodybuilders to use Lr3 IGF-1 for months on end at very high dosage simultaneously with GH and Humalog?
Is this the main factor in the increase of distended abdomens and/or lbm we see in the sport today?

Im sorry for butting in but yes to the abdominal growth using IGF-1 and rh-GH.
IGF-1 therapy is associated with the rapid growth of internal organs. Enlargements of the spleen, thymus, heart, and kidney resulted in organ sizes of the 95th percentile and greater in multiple trials. Splen*****ly occurred in the first one to two years of therapy but normalized with continued administration. One trial monitored organ function and structure in patients with increased renal and cardiac size; test results remained within normal limits.[8323] However, the manufacturer of mecasermin documented cardiac murmur (> 5%) and echocardiographic evidence of cardi*****ly and cardiac valvulopathy without clinical symptoms; periodic assessments are warranted.
Even though the Pharmacological Insert for HGH did not state the same findings, I would have to assume it does happen, because of the action of HGH once synthsized by the liver.Last edited by Spyeyes007; 03-18-2008 at 11:43 PM.

Yo.
It'd be speculation on my part to state any conclusive duration or dose.
For me personally, my waist increased in size by 1.5" after just 10 days of 100mcg/day.
I wasn't using concurrent androgens... as it was contest prep, and i'm a drug-tested athlete.
Insulin was in the mix@10 IUs pwo on training days.
That's it.
Yet... waist size increased.
Even though it was not apparent to those around me, the tape did not lie.
My competitive waist size is 26.5"
It went up to 28"
And this is just with very short term use.
So... I'd say it'd depend on the individual.
...And secondarily to what else is being incorporated by said individual.
Most?
I'd say no.
In the USA... maybe.
I can't speak for those guys however, because I'm based in the Caribbean.
The pros who are based here don't use IGF for extended periods of time.
Same for GH.
GH/IGF-1 is usually added pre-contest.
Humalog for carb-ups/carb-loads.
The pros I know in the USA (as well as the top amateurs in the USA/Europe/Canada whom i know) run GH year-round.. but much like HRT...
In this i mean, they run a base dose tru-out the year... and then burst cycles during mass phases.
During these times they add IGF-1.
Again I must say, this practice is mainly in the USA.
Bodybuilders outside that region use less Peptides IMO.
Distended abdomens... yes.
LBM increases?
w/ regard to igf-1 primarily?
No.
