Can blood glucose go up by itself in the morning?
I tested my BG level this morning first thing after waking up and it was 4.2mmol/L (76 mg/dL). I have some LR3IGF-1 that got contaminated with some B12 awhile ago, so to test its potency with being a glucose disposal agent, I figured I would inject it and see whether I could go hypo from it as my BG was already low. I injected 100mcg of the stuff IM and tested about half an hour later. My BG was now 4.8 (86 mg/dL). I tested another half an hour later and its now 4.9 (88 mg/dL). How can BG go up by itself without me having consumed any carbohydrates? The only thing I can think of is liver glycogen being released maybe because of the IGF-1 or simply me moving around and instead of sleeping.... is this normal?
