HGH and rock hard hands!

I don't know if these question has been covered, but I hung out with a couple of guys this weekend who just finished competing. . . and one thing I noticed is that their hands are rock hard. . and i mean like concrete. .plus they all use growth . . is this just something in my head or do I have a point? When i shook their hands it was like shaking hands with a boulder.

could be that there is basically no fat later or water layer, so you are feeling straight muscle

I don't believe it's related to HGH, it could be a number of things all non-drug related.

My friend builds houses, lays bricks all day every day and that type of work has wrecked his hands. They look and feel like a rock. Age can also do that, like I said it can be related to a number of things.
