Question Can Insulin cause hair loss?

I am just over 2 weeks into PCT and I'm running

    Arimidex 0.3mg pd
    Tamoxifen 20mg pd

    Vitamin E
    Vitamin C
    Vitamin B6
    Various BCAA's
    Other various vitamins and minerals

    Despite running both on cycle

    Proscar (Finasteride)
    Nizoral shampoo (Ketoconazole)
    Rogaine (Minoxidil)
    Spiro (Spirolacatone)

I still shed some hair. The cycle was

    12 weeks Test Enanthate 550mg pw/Insiulin 10iu-20iu pd

    then 3 weeks

    Test Prop 350mg pw/clen /t3

    then 1 week

    Test Prop 350mg pw/T3/DNP .

As I've been off cycle for a few weeks it has however noticeably thickened up. I am still using all of the hair loss products though less fanatically.

Just this last week I threw a bit of Insulin into my PCT at approx 10 iu PWO. Coinciding in this has been noticeable hair shedding, especially when I run my fingers through it to apply the rogaine.

My thoughts are that either the Insulin is increasing the amount of free testosterone in my system and that is converting to DHT or that as I've been less vigilant with my hair loss products lately the PCT chems are making my hair fall out (which can be avoided by reverting back to a solid hair maintenance routine).

Does anybody have any advice on this?

    Thanks.

i have heard that this will cause hair loss for sure. Insulin is for diabetics, you have to expect a reaction.

you might get a good body but whos gonna look at you if your bald

Do you have a reasonable explanation as to how using insulin can cause hair loss? I'm aware that slin is mainly used by diabetics but that doesn't mean that it isn't a very useful bodybuilding tool. I particualy choose to incluide it as I wanted to avoide hair loss.

I can see why you would say that but unfortunately boith are important to me, I love cycling yet wish to keep as much of my hair as possible for the moment.

I am trying to find a middle ground where by I can run short cycles of certain AAS at lowish dosages and very strict 5ar blockers/hair protecting compounds etc. I am willing to sacrifice some results to keep my hair. All in all I think this is possible its just amount experimenting to find my limits.

Hmm okay thanks. The Arimidex was fine at the start, I might try lowereing the dose or stoppign it all together. Perhaps there is no longer a need to run it I'm feeling good and my testicals have certainly already regained their size. Mt cycle did not contain any 19-nors so wasn't too suppressive imo.

If you have no idea what you're talking about (which you don't), please refrain from comments such as the above.

    This isn't the lounge.

Seems you guys were on the money, the hair loss seems to have ceased despite the insulin usage continuing, thanks to those who gave advice.
