    insulin?

what are the chances of getting diabetes later in life from insulin use. Im planning on running it 4 months out of the year for a year or two if that makes any difference.

There is no evidnece stating insulin use can lead to dependancy. Having said this, it doesn't mean using insulin long term is safe. We canot tell you what will happen if you use insulin for that long simply because we do not know.

All you can do is stick to "safer" protocols which work for most that deliver maximum gains and minimum side effects.

thanks for the response. Im just starting to look into insulin use so I haven't read all the facts yet, Im still a ways out from running it though because of my surgery. I heard 4wks on 4wks off is a good protocol thats why I figured I could run it 4months out of the year in various cycles. What would be a safe protocol? Once a year for 4wks or 2x a year for 4wks at a time. Any help is appreciated.

There is no safe protocol, but many follow the 4 weeks ON/OFF protocol which delivers minimum sides and maximum gains, I suggest you also stick to that protocol.

    Good luck.
