    physician puzzle by blood results

i went to get my blood results yesterday and my ck (creatine kinase ) was 5 time more than normal it was at 1159 and normal is below 210.my doctor told me that my mucles are breaking down bad five time more than normal and i am obviously not healing or repairing muscle tissue and my kidneys are working extra hard.i got my blood work done 6 weeks ago when i finished my post cycle therapy ) and this is what i was taking. also note that i waited 2 weeks for my system to clear the test before starting the pct.

    week 1-3 hcg nolvadex clomid
    500iu/day 20 mg./day 100mg/day

    week 4-5 20 mg/day 50mg/day

    week 6 20mg/day
and 3-6 iu hgh every day with 12.5-25 mcg/day but no slin for the whole 6 weeks.

i have been back on my the same cycle which is 6 iu hgh a day,1000 mg.test enanthate a week,500 mg of deca a week and i take 10iu humalog on workout days only.so nothing has changed and thats what i told my doctor so we are both puzzled.he told me that either i was training too hard (wich i always do anyway) or i was not taking in enough protein or both.my doctor also said that maybe i was taking too much creatine or not enough he just doesn't know.my creatine intake is usually 5 mg.per day.this is also what i came up with too. my other pct results from last year and so on my ck was normal.can anyone explain what or were i went wrong.i am going back now in a few days for blood work again now that i i have been back on my test in the last 6 weeks just to see if my ck is still high.
any thoughts on this one.......anyone........does anyone have an answer.

Does your doctor know what you're taking?

On cycle you're creatinine levels will normally be elevated. Moreover, generally your kidneys will be working harder to process the extra protein that your body can now absorb on AAS. So yes, it is VERY common that those two will fluctuate. However, that said, it should not be 5 times out of the normal range. My creatinine levels where 75 points too high on cycle, and kidney function was a little high (can't remember exact #)

Defs just tell your doctor what you're currently cycling with, and go from there! you might have a kidney disorder in the making, so be honest. just my .02. hope that helps.

What are your stats? As stated above on cycle CREATININE will be higher. Also the more muscle that you have on your frame compared to a normal person of you height and weight will also make you have a higher creatinine level. My creatinine level is always elevated because I have more muscle . It will not be a probablem as long as you kidneys are able to process and excrete the creatinine properly.

If your at a family dr see a nepheroligist(spelling sorry). This is what I had to do and he said I was fine but we ran many teasts to be sure.

Have the kidney dr do his thing before you freak . Your probably fine.

    Good luck!

just got my blood work done and my doctor also added additional liver work for tests, now i half to wait a few days for results.the nurse that took my blood work told me its not a major kindney problem and not to panic.she said that bodybuilders that get their blood work results usually are highter in many things than normal people especially if you are hardcore such as myself.anyway she compared my ck which was taken in 2006 and said that at that time it shows in the 400's cich is still above average..now its almost three times as high.so now i just wait and see if there was a difference from 7 weeks ago when i was on my pct.cycle.i am also wondering if it would help to take more protein and creatine or less of one or the other, if that would make a difference.i am 51 years old,i am 5'7'' and weight 225 lbs with around 8-9 percent bodyfat.i have been on anabolics and competed in bodybuilding competitions since i was 36 years of age.my bench press is 405 l.b.s (not bad for a 51 year old.)and most of all my other lift like bent over rows etc...are also high in weight.anyways i hope this helps if anyone has other opinions on this.

i phoned my doctor back and spoke to the nurse and i insisted that i have my doctor call me and refer me to a nephrologist which i alwready called and left her a message to call me back, the nurse said that i need to see a urologist not a nephrologist.is this correct.what is the difference........
