    Switching from T3 to T4

I like to run T4 with my HGH. Since I was out of HGH i was running T3. Now that i have my HGH again, i wanted to know the best way to switch back to T4? should i just change one morning? should i cut both in half and gradually transition?

    thanks for any advice

Why T4? T4 has to convert to T3 before the body uses it and it is impossible to know how much T4 is actually converting to T3. I wouldn't use the T4, T3 is your best bet. BUT if you for some weird reason HAD to switch from T3 to T4 you would not have to taper off the T3 just switch to T4, no biggie.

Read the stickie "thyroid hormone and growth hormone ".

It talks about how your wasting half your money by taking gh without T4. It's basically the conversion of t4 to t3 that gives all the benefits.

I'm not sure but I don't see any problem in just switching. Just my opinion though.

From the page on the forum at Thyroid Hormone + Growth Hormone with James Daemon, Ph.D. , the following statement is made:

"So what are we doing when we add T3 to GH? We’re effectively shutting down the conversion pathway that is responsible for some of GH’s effects! And what would we be doing if we added in T4 instead of T3? You got it- we’d be enhancing the pathway by allowing the GH we’re using to have more T4 to convert to T3, thus giving us more of an effect from the GH we’re taking. Adding T4 into our GH cycles will actually allow more of the GH to be used effectively!"

I personally noted that the preferred action, relative to the T3 - T4 issue is to supplement my HGH with 50 to 100 mcg of T4. I don't remember exactly why I noted that, although I think that DCannon may have suggested that earlier, and I verified his suggestion with other facts, if my memory serves me right.

I recently ran out of HGH and I am planning to take T4 with my HGH this time. I used HGH for nearly a year without that supplement, and I think that was a mistake, although I am satisfied that my use of HGH was beneficial, although it seems it could have been more beneficial had I grasped the science. However, learning all these facts have been difficult for me to understand and finding the supplements that are genuine are another challenge.

However, I am here because I am up for the challenge... LOL!!! While the alternative of failure is unacceptable.

BTW - I am glad you are back in the drivers seat, regarding your earlier HGH issue!
