High HGH, low IGF-1?
I'm not on any kind of GHRT, but am considering starting on a low dose (say 2i.u.'s a day) for anti-aging purposes. My test results indicate high urinary HGH of 7.7 (.5-6.63), and low serum IGF-1: 134 (121-237). Does anyone know what to make of these numbers? What do they say about my body's ability to produce IGF-1? Are there any benefits to boosting GH without a resulting increase in IGF-1? Thanks.
