IGF 1 and healing an Injury
Any benefit to using IGF when recovering from an injury. Say a surgery

GH (and raised IGF-1) is in many cases used to speed up the recovery of a rehabilitation proces or a surgery.
There are many cases where GH has sped up things at an incredible speed and even recovered people from situations where doctors have written them off.
Offcourse it also depends what kind of injury one has and what other medical important factors play a role (i.e. age, other sickness etc) but in general GH is quitte usefull.
So GH is in many cases very good tool for good recovery, whether it be broken bones, hernias, broken backs or more simple things like decades old arthritis and old joints.
What kind of surgery have you had?Last edited by GH consumer; 01-22-2011 at 07:00 PM.

Well 2 weeks ago had to have my elbow scoped to shave the bone and remove some bone chips and arthritis. My shoulder now has an impingement and a partial rc tear, which may even be tendonitis and not a tear. But the ac joint is hypertrophied and will most likely need to be shaved.
I just want to get back. Had plans on fighting this year.

I just read some old posts from here where people have had success healing an injury faster.
I've also just read that our bodies release more igf to an injured area and that icing an injury lowers the igf to the area. And how we need inflammation for healing and stuff like that. Google it sometime. Very interesting

Yes, there are many people who wrote about GH helping even very serious injuries.
Which is not surprising knowing the properties of GH but in the medical field it is very taboe.
The most docs unfortunately rely purely on natures way of healing not taking into account age and all other factors and thus in many cases prolonging rehabilitation by a long unnecessary time.
Yes, inflammation is needed as to keep a good bloodflow to the injured area, thus delivering all the nutrients and among other things GH into the problem area.
There are many cases for instance where people inject GH into an area where almost no blood normally goes (such as deep in the joints, which is very painfull) and the patients have had excellent results in healing an injury that under normal circumstances would probably never fully heal.

I don't have access to gh and after reading it seems igf is responsible for the healing. That our bodies release it to an injured area. So I'm going to try igf long to the affected area being my shoulder.
I have read some say they got no results while others stripped fat along with helping the healing process

I've cycled igf but haven't used it while injured. I've been on HGH for a while and was on it when I re-injured my shoulder. The first time took me over a year. With the HGH it took about 8 or 9 months. It's not magic but it does help speed things along. You might want to look at low doses of Test, Deca , or EQ. They moisten collagen in small doses.

combining IGF with EPO
I have had shoulder surgery, so this comes to mind. You need inflammation for blood flow, so what if I was to combind IGF with EPO for blood flow. Any thoughts?

Epo doesn't really increase blood flow, just red blood cells.
