    pre and post surgery gh usage?

    im currently taking 4ius ed split 2/2 been on for almost 3months,test 600mg ew,deca 400mg ew,MA 400mg ew going on 2months. going for hernia surgery in a month read somewhere in a old post that it was recomented to stop gh week prior to surgery and continue day or so after.i plan on staying on for a year so what would be the best protocol post surgery and why.i also plan on coming off the aas and just cruising on test before the surgery and after with the gh.any input appreciated.....

    I believe your read Znak's log.

    Yes, GH is very beneficial for recovering from even the hardest surgeries.

    I believe Znak's doc told him to stop 1 week prior and continue after the surgery.

    The GH helped him and many others to recovery much faster then the docs predicted.

    As for AAS I believe you have to be much more carefull when going into a surgery.

    AAS can cause complications with sedation (i.e. blood cloths etc) and most of the time the pre-surgery check does not check for hormones in patients body therefore the doctors do not know that a patient is using them and it can create an unstable and unknown factor. When dealing with full sedation this could potentialy mean problems (I believe that's what happened to Orville Burke).

    I would clear the AAS out of the body a couple of weeks before surgery and when feeling better start again. Test and deca will be good aids in recovery.

    Good Luck!

    What was the reason for stopping the HGH a week before the surgery?

    Znak didn't mention a reason as I recall.

    I think it has to do with 2 things;
    -Getting rid of water associated with GH
    -Cleansing the body to a basic state in which there are no exogenous substances so the docs have a bigger control during the operation and a biger chance of succes

    Every new compound adds an unnecessery and unknown factor to the body during a very stressfull time such as an operation.

    UPDATE: just went for pre-op today and was told to keep using gh and test right up until the day of the operation but not supposed to smoke take any herbs and certain supplements up until a week prior to operation.go figure they said it would be beneficial to keep running the g and test and no interactions with anything.
