Isma's FIRST insulin cycle
Well guys, on October I'm going to start my first insulin cycle, so although I've read a lot, and then more and more and more, about it, I'd like to share with you my ideas about it...
Week 1-12 --> Test C --> 250 mg/E5D
Week 1-26 --> HGH --> 6 IU --> 5 on/2 off
Week 1-4/ 9-12 --> insulin --> 10 IU (starting with 2 IU)
What do you think guys? Should I change something?

I would do the Test C e3d. at that dose.
Make sure you carry fast carbs with you, always, after you take your slin.

Thankyou Markosterone.
Of course I'll carry with me some dextrose tablets and some coke... no problem with this.
And I'll think about take Test C e3d, I wanted to do the cycle with less doses because it's my first insulin cycle so I want to take the test levels into a "moderate" range, but maybe I'll up the dosage...
Thanks man, any other advice?

What type slin is it? Log? What's your carb protocol with it?

First of all thankyou for the interest SlimmerMe and D7M.
1. The insulin is Lispro, ultra-fast. Humalog.
2. Log? Yeah, I guess, this will be my log. On October 1st, I'll start.
3. My carb protocol...
Just before or after the insulin injection -->
*Shake --> 50 grams of protein
--> 7 grams of dextrose / IU of insulin
5-10 grams of creatine
10 grams BCAA or glutamine
--> 70-75 minutes after the injection --> 50-60 grams of protein + 50 grams of carbs (+ protein shake).
As I said before, I'll have on hand some dextrose tablets, sugar, Coke...

post slin injection, if its post workout i personally have a shake containing at least 50-60 grams of protien as your doing but as for carbs i personally would do away with the dextrose and use oats, waxy maze, or a karbolyne type powder if your not blending. from what ive read dextrose/maltadextrin would just mimic what the insulin is gonna do for you but in a smaller scale. about an hour after your better off having an actual meal rather than a shake, like brown rice and chicken, pasta, ect. little to no fat, once comftortable you can adjust your carb intake so your not taking in unecesary carbs that can lead to fat. just some advice but maybe others can chime in

Very interesting your point about not using dextrose. Thankyou.
What do you think guys about what Muscledweebe is saying about the carbs post-insulin ?

I commend you for discussing all of this BEFORE starting your cycle...not seen very often around here and i believe others should adopt this method.

Ok guys,
So I've read about doing cardio during the insulin cycle, and I've read some people saying yes, and some people saying it is dangerous because of the hypo...
What do you thinks guys? I put fat easily, and cost me a lot of muscle to put it out, so could I do some cardio? And if I can, when?
Thankyou.

Hello I have done a fair amount of slin. I will do light cardio on slin but no heavy cardio and would not even consider fasted cardio. I use humalog also and I take it after eating or eat right after taking the slin, humalog reaches serious blood concentration in about 15 minutes so I would definately not wait 70 minutes to take in my shake. My main uses of slin are PWO with approx 75gms of whey and 10 gms of creatine mono and 10 gms of glutamine and while I used to mix a bunch of simple sugar in the shake itself I have found that I can use about 20 gms in the shake and then take more (simple sugars) every 15 or so minutes as needed and this seems to provide a better blood sugar level and instead of a huge initial spike followed by a half hour of good levels then hypoglycemia afterward. Also instead of simply dumping a bunch of simple sugars I have been using mango, frozen grapes and the like and munching on them after the slin injection to provide a steady intake of sugars to the bloodstream.
Anyway that is what has worked for me, just make sure to be real careful in the beginning its a really good idea to have someone present just in case and as said always keep some ( a good amount) of glucose tablets handy in your car just in case of something like you are on your way home from the gym and the car breaks down and there you are with no sugar in the middle of nowhere....could get ugly fast. Also a glucogen pen is a great thing to have on hand in case of emergency if you have someone to pin you.
One last cautionary note: while it the normal life of humalog may only be two hours if you are sedintary and then a couple of hours later go to sleep you may awaken on the verge of death soaked in sweat with your heart beating like a jackhammer in your chest and so confused you can not decide if you should go onto the internet to dial 411 or drive to steroid dot coms emergency room...I was seriously almost this fvked up when I awoke and it is a mistake I have not made since ;-) so be careful.

Not offence at all man. It was only to know if it was (your problem) because of using insulin (don't matter how many or how long) or because of using more than necessary.
There is no problem if you don't want to share it man.

Guys, when calculating the calories of your diet being ON of insulin , do you have to count the calories from the "sugar" shake?
Or this calories are "eliminated" because of the lack of sugar in the blood?
Thanks guys, I'm giving the last "touches" to my 4000 kcal diet.
