    What kind of carbs post insulin?

    What do you guys use for carbs after insulin injections? I keep hearing different opinions on this.
    And can you use insulin without putting on any fat?

    Straight after insulin have a shake consisting of fast and slow carbs. How much you need depends on the individual. 60-75 minutes later, have a meal, this can be rice, pasta or jacket potatoe. You need protein also of course. Avoid fat 4 hours before and after injection. Body fat gain is dependent on this and also the amount of carbs you take in around injection time. I believe the key is to consume enough carbs to avoid hypo and not to much to get fat. This obviously needs to be done safely, so air on the side of caution and make sure you have too many carbs rather than too few. I am no expert on insulin use, but from research I've done, this is the format I'm using now. This is using fast acting insulin btw. Hope this helps, be safe.

    That's kinda what I've heard, I was hoping to hear from someone that could give me a recipe for building muscle and not gaining any fat with insulin . I've got some freinds using it and they say your going to gain fat, it's just part of it, and that was my short experence with it.

    I normally take t-3 and that on slin but I only use it for bulking and don't worry to much about body fat when builking but the t-3 helps

    i have used slin several times, that is I have used it for a month or more on several blasts. I agree with what delta says on protein and carb intake and disagree with what your friends are saying on gaining fat and have actually found just the opposite to be true that is as long as you keep any fat intake out of the slin intake window and don't go crazy with sugars or caloric intake then you will loose fat not gain it.
