I read somewhere that if you have ever had major abdominal surgery you should not take HGH. I had the surgery 20 years ago. And vilitity to these statements?

If I decide to do it. And that's a big IF lol. I'll only be doing 2-4 IU a day. Everywhere I have read said that there are almost never any adverse effects at that dosage. I know that Jen you get up in the teens and 20s a day is when you can start seeing cOmplications. I'm sure either way it will be fine.

That's what I thought the reason was gonna be - small intestine growth.

Acromegaly and organ growth can only occur from extremely high doses run for long periods of time.

I know that there is a possibility of intestinal growth due to IGF-lr3. The IGF will attach itself to ready receptors. If the receptors in the muscles are not reset, the IGF will travel throughout the body looking to attach itself. The intestines has the largest amount of IGF receptors. That's why I've used the IGF practice of injecting small amounts of IGF IM immediately after workout, when the IGF receptors are most plentiful, and doing it for a longer cycle. Large doses, in theory, will flood the muscle receptors and attach to the intestine receptors. HGH will trigger the release of IGF-1. If there are enough IGF-1 and not enough of IGF receptors I guess your gut could grow. I've been on 5iu/ed for 4 years and I haven't seen my gut grow much. As for not taking HGH because you're having abdominal surgery? I, personally, think that's not a real practical concern.
