Help with syringe size difference
Hey guys and ladies,
I went to go buy some syringes and asked for insulin syringes and they asked me what size there is thousands of different sizes.
Now they had one ones that were in ml and some in IU
The one in ml was 1ml syringe
The other one was IU
Now I am looking at doing 25mcg per muscle so can you get smaller syringes or how do you convert mcg to IU?
Also last question how long are the needles you should use as the ones they tried to sell me were 31G x 8mm and looked heaps long??
Thanks guys hope I can get some answers

needle size is dependent on the viscosity of the fluid being drawn and injected.
is your fluid water or oil based?
if water based, then a 31 is fine. if oil based, it is too small.
you need to know what the ml/iu conversion factor is for the gear you are trying to inject. An IU is NOT a measurement of volume. the IU syringe is only for insulin and other injectibles that utilize the same conversion ratio.
I usually just get the 1ml size syringe.

Hey guys what would be the best for the application mentioned above?
The 1ml syringe that's 9th from the top comes with 0.5" needle I think?
